After clearing CMOS ram not detected

Does anyone know why clearing the cmos made it so my ram isnt detected? I have 12gb and only 8 is recognized. Also i cant set the multiplier to more than 33 after cmos clearing, before clearing i was able to set the multiplier to 41

i would try to flash the bios manually from usb stick. sounds like bios might be corrupted. Also pull out all the memory insert one at a time make sure all the sticks work, if they do then do the same thing but in each slot. I doubt you got a bad stick or slot but its possible best to rule it out if a bios flash doesn't help.

But ive always had that bios version. 3703. All the sticks work. But not at the same time. (after clearing cmos) Ive also tried reflashing to a older bios. Still no luck.

Try to reseat your cpu, if they all work then it could be a cpu memory controller not making good contact and just messing around in the computer could have disturbed the pressure on the mount. It really sounds like a bios issue to me though, does that board have a secondary bios chip do you know?

Already tried reseating CPU, i do not see any switch for the secondary bios. so i dont think it has
