Should I get extra case fan due to Radeon VII?

Hi guys,

 

I upgraded to a Radeon VII the past weekend. And of course the temperature is high and all. But my question is, I'm using a Corsair 500D, so I was wondering if I should add 2 more 120mm case fan in the front to help with the air cooling? I know it does come with 1 at the front and 1 at the back.

Based on the case design i would fill up the front panel with 120MM Noctua NF S12B Redux. (3 of them) 4 if you want to replace your exhaust fan.

So I will need to remove the current case fan from my 500D as well?

It's recommended for me to fill up all 3 fan slot of the temperature of my case right?

Just to keep your computer as silent as possible but move as much air as possible, Noctua is elegantly design for this, though not cheap.

 

Yes you will need to remove the provided Corsair fan.

Those wouldn't help GPU temps. How are your temps under load anyway?

For now. 80-ish degrees celcius.

 

But the front fans surely will help regardless right? I'm thinking of getting 2 nf-a12x25-pwm on top of my current front and rear fan

Yes, those would help. Bottom fan would be most optimal, since GPU fan/s is down there.

Can advice on how to add more fans to the bottom? As bottom is equipped with my PSU. I'm currently using a AX850 if it matters.

Sorry, your case uses PSU shroud. Those limit airflow to GPU. In case without shroud, you can just use bottom fan mount.
