Question about phone connections on PC

Yiannis15

Charge only mode in phones means that no data can transfer? And therefore no malware if the phone is infected and connected to a PC?

I don't want to promise anything, but probably. At least on my oneplus devices, when in that mode the driver does not load on the PC (linux, macos, or windows). But if I switch to file transfer mode it will. So given that information, it's probably fine. Emphasis on *probably*

If you are very paranoid you could get those "charge only" cables, that have removed the data lanes from the cables, meaning that no data can transfer in any way.

I only see your reply if you @ me.
