Is it worth buying a Locked iPhone 7?

vascobrissos14

My friend (trustable) just told me he has an iPhone 6 and and iPhone 7 founs by his grandma.

He told me he'd sell the iPhone 7 for 10$ but it's iCloud locked.

I'm an Android user but for 10$, I wouln't mind to try out the iPhone 7.

Since I don't know much about iPhones and iOS, I came here to ask if it's worth buying the phone and trying to unlock it.

I saw this website.

https://www.imyfone.com/ios-data-erase/how-to-delete-icloud-account-without-password/

Is it legit?

Thanks!

there are several ways to actually get past it, and yes, you can wipe devices without getting on to main device.

HOWEVER, there are ways to do it hardware based. (yes it can be done. father was a county prosecutor who broke into phones for work.) there are always methods to crack data by hardware methods, no matter what.

Is it feasible by a normal person, not a chance in hell. iphones are known for their super security.

you can solder past the passcode encryption on the hardware side, but cloud based is another issue. it physically isnt worth the effort it will require to get past it on the cloud side.

There’s a way to unlock it but you need allot of experience with soldering, look it up, the parts would cost around 100-130 and the tools around 200. Probably start a service doing this but you’d probably just get people with stolen phones trying to unlock them. Do some reasearch online, some videos show how to do it too.

Eh if they are smart Indians, probably not, and I’m not trying to be racist, they probably know how to change screen and all that, but this requires professional work.
