Does this build work?

Link won't show the parts for me, but I would recommend finding the parts on pcpartpicker.com and it should let you know if everything is compatible.

you aren't gonna be doing much of an overclock on a 212 evo, get a scythe FUMA instead. thermal paste is included with the cooler. get a HP EX900 instead of the 860 evo.

Do NOT go with the Hyper 212 Evo for cooling an 8700K, especially if you want to overclock it. You need something like a 240mm+ AIO or a Noctua NH-D15.

Go with 3000MHz+ RAM. Performance drops a bit with slower RAM.

Aside from that, it looks alright. I'd go for an EVGA G2 or G3 power supply instead of the Corsair CX one though.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Why buy a new psu? I think most new quality psus take 100-240V and handle it automatically if there is no switch. At least rmx 650 has 100-240V in manual for AC input rating.

That ssd has more space. And you hardly see a difference in speed between sata-ssd or nvme if you use it for gaming. Most likely you end up putting a game onto hdd with a smaller ssd and that will make a large difference on loading times compared to any of the two ssds.

That rtx2070 just was cheaper. I dont think there is much difference between the Duke and that 479$ Gigabyte.
