(Drones) - Do I need a PfCo to do some free drone footage for a friends business (UK)

Noremac

Hi, quick question but if I do some drone footage with a DJI Spark for a friends business for free do I need a PfCo, I otherwise only use my drone for personal use :)

Thanks in advance

In my opinion a contract will be good for both of you as you cannot go after the company for money later and they cannot go after you if they dont like the end result.

I say this as I was reading where a photographer had taken wedding photo's for a friend getting married for free. It was their friend and they wanted to do something nice for their wedding. After he gave them the photo's and even a copy on a disc there was a conflict with the friends new partner and a friendship was lost over free work.

So I would consider doing a contract if for nothing else to protect the friendship.

good luck.
