New Headset - PC / Consoles (PS4)

Recommended Posts

Hello guys!

I'm looking for a new headset where I can use both consoles (PS4) and PC. The biggest problem is that I'm pretty sure which model to grab.

I dont care about the microphone quality, I just want to know witch pair of headphones sounds better.

Here is the list of models I've been seeing and reading reviews:

- Turtle Beach Stealth 600
- Steel Series Arctis 5
- Corsair Void Pro RGB
- Corsair HS70 Wireless
- Razer Kraken pro V2
- Razer Kraken Tournament
- HyperX Cloud Alpha
- HyperX Cloud II
- Logitech - G933 Artemis Spectrum

Budget - $ 100

ps: at times, listen to music too.

Cloud Alphas (better sound quality than IIs). If you plan on listening to music too, consider a headphone/mod mic solution.

Current Desktop Build | 2200G | RX 580 4GB | 8GB RAM | CTRL | Logitech G Pro Wireless

Laptop | 2018 MBA 256/16GB | MX Master

Music is the last case.

The goal is to play, console (PS4) and PC.

So .. of these options, do you prefer Cloud Alpha?

I dont recommend the logitech 933. I used to have it. i got the pc37x later and fell in love with it. One thing to note about the pc37x is that its an open back headset. There is no isolation and people nearby can hear sounds coming out of the headset. They arent good in loud environments either. Still a great headset that i use to game on my PC with. Im currently looking for a different one ONLY because i dont use the microphone on it (i have a stand alone microphone). But yea i recommend them. Ive also heard good things about the hyper x headsets but i dont know anything about from experience.
