My Pc can't stream videos in 1080p?

Hi Guys,

 

This is my rig: https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/fgvrnH and for some reason I am unable to stream videos  at 1080p ? Mbps Up: 44 Mbps Downs: 15. What could be the issue ?

can you be more specific?

is the video lagging, or are you unable to select 1080p?

138 is a good number.

U maybe having issues as ur trying to stream from a HD and not an SSD.

That wouldn't be streaming though...

 

Besides which a USB flash drive is more than fast enough to handle playback of a video at 4K so I'm pretty sure a HDD can handle 1080p fine (an encoded 4K 30FPS video has a bitrate of around 30Mbps)

Which sites are you streaming from? Can you select HD and it stutters or is HD not available at all? Does your ISP throttle videos?

Just online sites that host videos, I can select 1080p but it just stutters after loading a bit and continues to jitter and load? They don't throttle videos but they do throttle speed after x gbs used that I am aware of.
