What do I upgrade on my laptop?

I have a kind of old acer and it's been getting really slow lately and it seems to be falling apart. It has an intel core i3 6100 with hd520 graphics. It has 4 gigs of ddr3 and has a Toshiba hard drive, Toshiba MQ01ABD100. Any tips on improving it?

Maybe an extra stick of memory to make it 8GB total, but make sure you have enough memory slot for it first.

upgrade ram , upgrade to ssd 

How much you upgrade by is up to you.

nice things:

- backlit keyboard (most laptops had at least a white backlit as an option)

-bigger battery if (available)

- cpu if it is upgradeable (Most arent)
