Ryzen 2600

Is the Ryzen 2600 a good enough CPU for an 800 € budget PC. And is 2666 MHz ddr4 also  good enough ?

Thanks

the CPU is fine

Memory is also fine, but do get 2 or more sticks to have dual channel mode

Budget is a bit hard to get 16gb in so I was thinking of getting the 1 and allowing for future expansion or should I just get 2 X 4 GB ?

People usually buy the same ram just to be safe, and I also think for looks, because mixed ram can look off. Dual channel is faster and ryzen does benefit from more RAM speed. If you can find anything thats above 2666mhz thats also good too.

If saving more money means getting 16gb of faster ram, consider doing that.

Yeah it's just hard to fit 16gb into the budget so is 2x4 better than 1 8gb? Because at the moment I can't get 16gb, but I know if I want to put another in the future it will have to be the same one

Yes, dual channel ram (two sticks) is faster.

If I worded this wrong, I meant, try to save up more money if you can to get 16gb of 3000mhz+ ram. If you're on that tight of a budget what you have picked is fine, and you can try overclocking the ram to get better speeds on the ram which will help the cpu.

get a 4 slot board then. Asrock Pro4 and a couple of MSI boards for example.
