RTX 2080Ti with Kraken G12, low performance.

saeedsaf

I just saw this, and even though it's long past, it may help others

1) The G12 works fine up to 1080Ti, in fact Jayz showed that VRM was cooler than using stock. But not sure about 2080Ti. You could buy some mini copper/aluminium heat sinks to help with the VRM and RAM modules.

2) I suspect your AIO is set to intake rather than exhaust. If your setup is set to intake, it would explain why your other components are overheating. Your GPU is cool, yes, cause the fresh intake air is cool. But you are turbocharging hot air right into your case, which means the G12 fan is NOT cooling your VRM/DRAM modules. If your CPU AIO is intake as well, it's even worse, you basically have an air fryer on hand.

If your GPU rad is already doing exhaust, then try 1).

You have to cool the ram and vrm.

In order to do it, I made a full copper mid plate and back plate for my gpu.
Temps are great.
To fill the gap between the inductors and the mosfets I use a heat pipe.
By the way this gigabyte pcb is verry unusual o_O...
