Is Paypal Linked To The actual bank or is it only linked as in transfer? AKA Can bank see how much i have in paypal savings?

what im trying to ask is can the bank or anyone who checks my bank account can they detect i have a paypal linked to that bank card and 2 if so can they see my paypal balance or not?

 

i understand they can of course see my bank transaction history and my balance but i want to know if they can see if i have paypal linked and can they see my paypal balance???

 

im talking about anyone who checks banks lol

True, better ways to hide money. Safety Deposit Box for one, but still with a court order its opened! Actually without a court order, just the tax mans signature.

They can still see the "user withdrew $20,000 cash from the account 4 days before they did their taxes.... where did it go?"

 

That said, if the OP is trying to hide it from a shared account holder, that'd probably work.

not bank transfers i mean say if  i sell somthing on ebay can they see my paypal balance beacuse it goes straight into paypal buti i was wondering if the bank or well anyone can see that i have that money in bank

No, there are no camera's in the large walk-in safe. Suprisingly the boxes are easy to open, as I lost my keys and paid through the nose. Do not use your key to open cans of beer!

No. If you sell something and the money gets transferred to your paypal account, it's unlikely that the bank knows about the balance in the paypal account.

 

However, paypal is pretty much a bank, and I'm assuming can be quarried by the government for tax purposes.

im talking about if i got the money through paypal wether i sold somthing or got the money from someone else doing a paypal transfer and keep it in paypal can the bank see my paypal account

basically i can sell somthing for 4k but i dont wanna go over 2k well i dont want to explain why but all im saiyng is ill have to pay fees or taxes of sorts.... and i was hoping that if i just keep it in my paypal i could sneak it XDDDD

ok so they wouldnt be able to see my whole paypal? you can get them paypal cards so what if i got the money and they quickly took the cash out and by time they look i wouldnt have the balance .... unless they can check history but idk???

You are on a different angle, 20k from or to an account yes, but a box's contents only the owner knows whats in it, until its opened by someone else.

 

Even in Casino's now you have to show ID for 10k, and in the USA you pay taxes on those winnings, even game show contestants pay taxes on their vehicle they win.

 

For paypal its just another type of account, and they would follow the law no doubt about that.

You can do whatever you want. Don't matter to us. Just know they freeze accounts very easily! All accounts, credit cards, banks, paypal whatever your name is attached to. Even if you owe nothing, you ignore them, freeze = no money = stranded in Frankfurt traveling to South Africa.
