Is "You never felt pain" a figure of speech

 

Its a phrase, the verb being "felt" and its past tense.

Pain is the noun.

You is the pronoun.

 

A figure of speech is a phrase or word having different meanings than its literal meanings. It conveys meaning by identifying or comparing one thing to another, which has connotation or meaning familiar to the audience. Tee or Tee, golf tee, or tee intersection.

Saying a figure of speech is just not my cup of salt. 

 

“You never felt pain” is not a figure speech as it is quite possible indeed. There is no figurative (not literal) language used, however context would matter.
