I set it like this: Resolution: 1920x1080 Bitrate: 5MB FPS: 60 In such settings as I check in Windows, the file has a bitrate of about 3000kb/s but I set it to 5000kb/s so why is that? I set it like this: Resolution: 1920x1080 Bitrate: 5MB FPS: 30 In such settings as I check in Windows, the file has a bitrate of about 5000kb/s, but I set 5000kb/s in Pmiere Pro and the file has exactly as much as I set it. I thought that if I set 30FPS it will be better even because the computer renders 2 times less information instead of 60FPS it is 30FPS, i.e. the movie will save faster and you will need even less bitrate because there are fewer frames per second. How it's working.

Hi recently i discover this video from LTT channel showing a solution to virtualize Windows 10 via Unraid. My pc at home its a i6800k + 64Gb Ram + GTX1070 8Gb vram.. i use this PC for rendering archiviz 3d stuff but i need to have some NAS functionalities to access from the office without loosing 3d power.. also i need a solid system to avoid unexpected errors so i would like to ask if this solution about installing unraid then a VM of win10 its a practical solution... and if it could reduce the 3d performance of my machine.. Thanks a lot

Hi everyone, I bought an Intel Core i5 9400F for my Hackintosh, music production and 3D rendering, and some gaming on Windows (I couldn't afford more powerful CPU's) and even if this CPU is not supposed to reach high temps with his stock cooler, it does, 80 degrees celsius under full load and it often goes 90 degrees celsius. I cannot just don't think about it since sometimes renders can take days since graphics engines are freaking heavy. What I'm thinking to do is to install a new cooler for my CPU and I HATE air coolers, so I prefer AIO's. I've seen some 240mm AIO's and even 120mm, what I was wondering is: can I install a 120mm AIO and aspect safe temps? I know it's better to buy a 240mm since radiator is bigger but this CPU is not that hot. Thanks for anyone who will help me <3

gpu Video output on a GPU while 2D and 3D render on the other
FreqEvans posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Hi, I'm Ivan. I have a GTX 1050Ti and a GT 710. It is possible to video output a program such as Zoom on the GT 710 while using the "power" of the GTX 1050Ti? In few words: Zoom on secondary display connected to the GT710 but "running" on GTX 1050Ti (where is connected the primary monitor) Thanks to all people that will respond- 2 replies

First of all, hello everyone. It's great to write here on LTT Forum. Budget (1400€): Country: Italy Used for:I will use the PC for 3D graphics and rendering, BIM and CAD / CAM, software use like Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, Revit, Blender Other details: Part list: 12700k MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk WIFI DDR4 (a bit expensive but I would like to overclock in the future) Seasonic FOCUS GX-850 Gold Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32GB 3600 DDR4 (CL18) Crucial P5 Plus PCIe 4.0 1TB ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB (it seems that it is more reliable than competition) MetallicGear Neo Qube ARCTIC P12 PWM PST A-RGB (3x120mm) X2 (1 kit for side and 1 for bottom) I have a Q6600 since 2007 with 8GB RAM, refreshed in 2015 with an SSD and a GTX 750 Ti, I will buy the components from Amazon that guarantees me to avoid customs and extra VAT, I am not particularly interested in gaming (although I love video games) The reason why there is no GPU in the list is that at the moment I can't / want to spend money on the shortage of GPU in the market. I think it is better to bet on a fast CPU and temporarily use the 750ti (please do not laugh ). In the future, maybe find a powerful average RTX to switch to the GPU rendering. Do you think it's the case to change the mobo as suggested by Igor'Lab and add the washers to avoid bending the CPU? I am open to any advice or suggestion. thank you all for your attention

Is there a way to use a 1050ti to help render things on the main gpu (1070)?

Budget (including currency): 700-1000 eur Country: Romania Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: It will be used for cloud / render farm in 3dsMax + Corona Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No peripherals, will be a pc/server with remote acces Hello, At this point, the build is hypothetical because I do not have the budget ready, yet...estimating 3 to 4 weeks. I work as an architect and for the current workflow, clients require a lot of renders either exterior or interior, depending on the project. Either way, I use 3dsMax and Corona renderer for this, which is a CPU based rendering engine. The rendering engine is highly dependant or the number of cores/threads (and CPU speed also); It will require around 64 gigs of ram, 128 being the sweet spot; (I know that this alone will ramp up the price) It will not need a dedicated fancy GPU; Ideally, low power consumption . I wish to build a new or second hand PC / server that can be used to offload the rendering tasks from my current 4790K + 24 gigs of ram. Additional details can be provided if required, because as of now, I honestly do not know what else I can add up in this post. Thank you, Andrew M.

Hello everyone, English is not my mother tongue so i hope you understand what i say. Let me get straight to what i wanna say. I recorded a video today for my YT channel and i recorded it in 4k30fps with my phone (Samsung A71). I am at the editing process at the moment but when i finish the editing and all that, should i render my video at 4k60fps or 1080p60fps? All my videos are rendered and uploaded to YT in 1080p60fps quality and this is the first time recording a 4k video with my phone, so will rendering the video at 4k60fps make a difference in quality? Or should i just stick to my normal 1080p60fps render? Thank you! Also i use Vegas Pro 18 as my editing software, idk if that helps you or not but why not lol.

As the title suggests, is it possible for me to purely use my GPU for video rendering using Sony Vegas Pro 14 instead of my CPU? Reason: my CPU overheats and shuts down during rendering. Context: Tower position is okay, good air intake and PC is clean from dust etc. It's just my current CPU cooler is the stock AMD (wraith, i believe). CPU temps shoot up to 80-ish at the start of the render and shuts downs in less than 2 mins. Any help is greatly appreciated. Specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 GPU: RTX 2080 RAM: 32gb ddr4

As the title says, before I was using a GT 1030 and PP was working. I upgraded to RX 580 and now when launching Premiere Pro is says "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again.". I did update the drivers, but they didn't solved it. Things to mention: I have a second monitor conected to the iGPU. The main display is obviously conected to the RX 580. I found a workaround: if I disable the integrated GPU in device manager, premiere pro launches flawlessly, but when exporting, in the Encoding Settings section, Performance is grayed out, i can't choose Software or Hardware. if I disable the RX 580 in device manager, premiere pro still launches flawlessly, and I can choose Software encoding, but if I choose Hardware encoding, it says it isn't available or something like that. How can I fix it? I want it to use the AMD to render, and also to work without disabling any gpu in device manager.

I own a lenovo v130 laptop with an i3 8130u and Intel HD 620 gfx, Ive started noticing that everytime I boot up my laptop and boot up Valorant, it stutters on every single update in the game, for example, everytime i buy a new gun or reload a specific gun, theres a specific explosion or a specific flash, my game freezes for upto 4 seconds till that material/asset renders onto my ram maybe and then continues normally, this occurs ofcourse even when the enemy shoots at me for the first time or if they die, or when theres a GUI update in game. This howerver all goes away as soon as I restart the game, all files load up in an instant (i have the game running on barelt playable settings for good fps, @480p). Can anyone explain why this happens and how to fix this? and yes the CPU usage spikes up everytime theres those update stutters, but there are no spikes when i restart the game and play normally. Please help me out .

Hello, I've been working and editing videos for a while now, and was wondering what should I use to render videos GPU or CPU? Right now it's set to default - CPU rendering I guess, since CPU goes 100% when I'm rendering a video. But I'm not sure if it's good for my CPU or PC overall. I have heard that if you don't do it right, then video rendering can damage your PC. Setup > CPU: I3-8350K GPU: GTX 1660 Super Thanks in advanced!

I'm currently running a 8gb GTX 1080. Its a great card for gaming at 1440p and I'm very happy with it. Besides gaming, I'm also a graduate architecture student so productivity is also important to me. I've been wating to get into 4k gaming a ray tracing. As for productivity, quicker renders in vray would be great. I'm also looking to mess around with machine learning and image generation. Would an upgrade to the 4080 be a good idea- assuming i can get one at msrp? Or would a 2nd-hand 3080 be more bang for buck?

i have a 3060ti with i7-6700k CPU, 32GB RAM and my HD is a 1TB NVME SSD. i noticed that certain textures and models will not fully load unless i approach them or wait for them to load in after a solid delay. here is screenshots i took to show you what i mean. in the first picture, you can see the brown/beige building in the center right looks horrible along with some other background buildings. then in the second picture the building is fixed, after waiting a couple seconds for the rendering to load in. this is happening across all of my games that feature big open world space (doesn't happen in close quarter games like overwatch, or not noticeable at least.) i've tried reinstalling nvidia drivers with DDU, and basically every recommended fix in the book. i'm not sure what the cause is. nothing is bottlenecking, CPU, RAM and GPU levels are all completely fine in-game NOTE: before my current setup, i used to have a much better setup inside of a different PC tower casing, but an electrical issue fried my old MOBO, RAM and my i7-9700K CPU. i moved my still-working 3060 into my dad's old office PC tower, which already had my current 6700K and RAM already inside of it. so i suspect it could have something to do with the fact that apart from my GPU, the rest of the components used to be for a high-powered office PC and not a gaming setup (though I don't see why that should still cause any issues.) frame rates and performance are fine in all games, but the texture loading issue is driving me insane.

hi everyone my laptop runs on an intel i7 10750h and gtx 1650ti my pc runs on a 7700k and an RTX 2070 super while rendering videos my pc utilizes full CPU and GPU but my laptop CPU usage hovers at around 20-30% and GPU is almost 0. hence my pc renders the same file almost 5 times faster. can i change this? is there a setting i need to change? or i just have to deal with it

Dear friends, I'm not able to render my holliday video, i am not video editor but i thougt i'd give it a go for a holliday through the west of the US. All the footage that we got is mixxed, so we got some foto's some small clips from our phones (1920*1080) and the DJI footage. Most of the drone shots work perfectly but a few of them started to cause issues once the video got longer. Might this have to do with my hardware? (i7 7700k, rtx2070, 16GB corsair RAM). The DJI footage wont playback while scrubbing and after rendering (it does render) it is just one still frame of that footage. I tried rescaling, set to frame size, etc. i cant find anyone online with the same issue so i thought some of you might have the answer. I have been trying for hours now but i can't figure it out. The footage plays perfectly in VLC, if i render it through premiere then its just a still. I have includes the properties of the dji footage and a shot of my render settings. Please help
