Hello, I recently bought a Surface book 3 with the Quadro RTX 3000 but noticed that some games run fantastic and others barely run at all. Is there some type of way to get GeForce drivers as I believe it could be a driver problem.

Is it possible to flash a Geforce RTX to an equivalent "Quadro" card? For instance, turning a 3070 Ti into an RTX A4000 (or a 3080 ti into an A5500, or a 3090 ti into an A6000). Hi, i'd like to know if my Quadro RTX 6000 is overclockable and if yes, how? i know it may be unstable on these gpus, but i don't care about that, it is just for fun (and to maybe beat some of my other hardware, who knows what that thing hides)

Hi! Basically I'm considering some new(used) mobile workstations, I currently run a T450 for anything light and a TERRIBLE dell inspiron gaming with a 1050ti for heavyer stuff (although it iddles at 85°c so it's basically slower than the t450). At the moment i'm considering two (now three) options: option 1 comes with an i9-10885H and a quadro T2000 option 2 comes with an i7-8850H and a quadro p3200 option 3 comes with an i7-9850H and a quadro RTX3000 option 1 and 3 also come with a bigger ssd but I don't realy care since i can stuff both machines with 2 or 3 extra drives if needed. option 1 and 3 are around 40 to 50% more expensive than option 2. option 1 comes with slighty more troubles but i can manage. option 3 has 64gbs of ram compared to the 32gbs of the other 2 options at first an i9 two gens newer plus a more recent gpu sounded like a no brainer but then i realized that: the p3200 is older buth a tier higher (6gb against 4gb just to quote one difference in which it seems to come on top) and that the i9-10885H doesn't have such a colossal advantage against the i7-8850H despite what the naming would let you think edit: added newely found option 3, loses a bit of cpu power in exchange for a better gpu and free ram. option 1 and 3 are probably still better than option 2 but i doubt they are 40% better, what's your opinion?

Looking at getting an RX6600, I was wondering if I could run that along a Quadro P4000 or similar card, or if the 6600 would do well enough.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I was wondering if it was possible to combine a RTX & Quadro GPU in the same machine? Use case is that I've always wanted to combine my server with my gaming rig, and I currently have a quadro card that supports 8+ Plex transcodes, but my RTX 3070 only supports 2 (limited by the consumer driver) Is it possible to combine them into one machine and have Plex use the Quadro while I game on the RTX? Also, I don't want my RTX performing transcodes, I know you can crack the driver to allow more that 2 transcodes on a consumer card.

I've got a IBM/Lenovo x3850 x5 server with PCIe 2.0x16 slots, each built for DDR3 RAM (only on account of it being an old server). I need to install a graphics card for programs I'm running on a ProxMox VM such as SolidWorks (which needs a Win10 VM) and Blender/COMSOL (which run best under Linux). This will require a GPU passthrough (VT-d is enabled for PCIe slots) and graphics acceleration. I'll be doing some pretty extensive simulation in these programs (fluid simulations, large assemblies). I'll list out some of the facts about each graphics card I'm considering: Nvidia GRID K1: 16 GB of DDR 3 RAM Four Kepler-based GPUs 128-bit Made in 2013 GPU Blender Benchmark render time: 584 seconds* Nvidia Quadro P1000: 4 GB of DDR5 RAM Four 640 CUDA core Pascal GPU 128-bit Make in 2017 GPU Blender Benchmark render time: 114 seconds* * = these figures come from a workstation that was built for DDR5 RAM, my server is built for DDR3 RAM, hence my concern about whether or not the P1000 will truly have an edge over the other in my server. Hello all, I built two workstations based on an Edgecam requirement for one of my users. Taking a look at the requirements for Edgecam the website claims the software is multi-threaded so that implies that Edgecam will utilize the big bad i9 processors that I bought for the two builds, but what about Quadro GPUs in SLI? I've looked for documentation on multi-gpu configurations and can't find anything. Solidworks is supposedly single threaded and will only use one gpu. Any help or recommendations for multi-gpu support for Edgecam or Solidworks would be greatly appreciated. Nico

Hello guys! Seems like you are my only, kast hope. I've been searching for the answer for daysbut nothing yet. There is a Precision 7920 rack form factor workstation, which has 2 CPU and 2 1600W PSUs equipped with a Quadro GV100 VGA. The owner wants a second, same VGA in the system, which is fine, but there comes the problem/question: these cards have NVLink connector on the for greater performance, and if you build this config in a tower configuration, you just place the 2 cards above each other, pop in the NVLink bridge, and voilá, there is the doubled bandwidth. But how can you connect them thru their NVLink connectors in a server, or rack form? Hope at least somebody saw configuration like this before, and can help, if the internet couldn't. Hi, I was wondering, do you guys think it's a good idea to buy a used workstation? I know a company here in Japan, with a shop in Osaka, that sells tons of used computers. Among them, quite a few Dell or HP workstations. Deals are often interesting, start rather low for 4C/4T or 4C/8T Xeon + 16GB Ram a Quadro and new SSD (about ¥40,000~¥50,000), up to quite a lot more for a Dual 10C/20T Xeon + 128GB Ram a Quadro and new SSD. They also offer a 3 years warranty, which is totally unheard of around here for second-hand computers. My worry is, well, for what I know all these computers might have been ON 24/7 for years and could just stop working anytime. Can't make up my mind. It's tempting, but is it really such a good idea to go the second-hand path...?

I am wondering if I can run my RTX 2080 Super and my Quadro K4000 In the same system when I put in my Quadro with my 2080 Super my drivers uninstall (currently running GeForce Game Ready Driver Version 511.23 which is the latest version) I read that Quadro's can run with GeForce cards on GeForce drivers but as I said my GeForce drivers uninstall when I put in my Quadro and my display Changes to the Quadro even though the HDMI cable from my monitor is plugged in to the 2080 Super and the Quadro is the only GPU that shows up in task manager. Hi, I have a problem, that is hard to explain, but here it goes. I have a work computer with ryzen 7-3700x and quadro p2200 gpu. since work from home i am using my monitor (4K) and one from work (1080p) for dual monitor setup (i need that a lot). I have noticed that CAD programs on my 4k display are performing quite bad even accounted for extra performance needed for 4k resolution image (the gpu memory gets full very fast). So sometimes I disconnect the 4k monitor to work just on 1080p if I need to do something bigger, and reconnect it when only working on documents. I have talked with CAD reseller and technical support and they said that the version I am using requires more gpu power than the older versions. But I noticed something odd today when I had a YouTube video playing and had the 4k monitor disconnected, all was fine. I had a task to write up some documents so enabled my 4k monitor for more convenient work and YouTube video started playing very weird. Turned on stats for nerd and i was loosing frames like crazy. 25% frames was lost in any resolution. No CAD application was running, computer was just turned on. Video was on second 1080p monitor. disconnected 4k monitor (with software, it is still pugged in gpu) and the video is fine, no lost frames in any resolution. GPU drivers are up to date. When using dual monitors doesn't matter on which display the video is showing.

I found a Quadro RTX 8000 with 48GB priced at $3,250 CAD. I searched the price for this kind of GPU and these things usually cost almost $10,000. Is there a reason it's priced this low? Maybe it's because it's used I'm assuming? Should I go for it? It could go very useful for rendering scenes in Blender. Are there some things I should know before buying his GPU? So when I was about to start I was surprised by a lack of how to videos online. So, I made shit up as I went. This is the gpu without it's case (yes that bag under it holds a k80 which is up next) Now I could see that the Waterblock would be plenty big enough for this GPU & I could breathe easy, but only for a moment. The casing needed to be cut down & the Dremel was dead, so I hand filed it down with my Leatherman. That's why there's so many scratches. Now I figure I have to keep as much of the original appearance of the GPU as I can so with the Dremel still dead I got to work on the front plate with a knife & a pair of scissors. Yeah, I fully expect the internet to hate me for my tools, but, it worked & if I don't have the budget for unused hardware do you think I have a budget for tools? So finally, the grand reveal. I'd have liked to have cut & drilled the top cover to exactly fit the Waterblock but that just wasn't working out. In the end, it looks pretty badass & in my PC it's mounted upside down anyways. Yeah, that's all the tools used, a screwdriver, a precision screwdriver of the wrong type, a Leatherman, & scissors. I'd say even for learning as I went, that went quite well. Soon to come, the complete build & the Tesla k80 waterblocking.

So, I've jumped the power supply, disconnected everything except the sata-4pin adapter that's connected to the pump & it isn't pumping. I just wanted to see the motor spin before I go full send & fill the reservoir but I've tried powering it on with 4 different PSUs & same thing, PSU on, pump doesn't go. Does it need water to run? Has anyone filled a loop like this who can help me out?

I've been cooking the Quadro p1000 in my laptop for a few years, if I make the pc jump & build my rig I intend to upgrade to the Quadro p4000, I have a few questions. Can you readily buy a Quadro p4000 Waterblock anywhere? Is it completely insane to Waterblock a p4000? I heard that Quadro cards are mostly just plussed up software on last gen gaming GPUs, is this true? If it is true, which gaming card is it based on & presumably compatible with that gpu's Waterblock offerings?

I understand Quadros aren't designed for gaming, but does anyone here games on a RTX Quadro? If so, what type of games? The reason why I ask that is because my computer is mainly a workstation, and I need more GPU memory. Just wanna know how they perform with gaming! Thanks!

Hi, I own a Dell Precision T3600 tower prebuilt (specs listed below). Although it is over 8 years old, it still works like a charm and has been my daily driver for the past 2 years. But recently, I am starting to see a few problems with it's graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1GB). Low-power games like Minecraft, Among Us and Factorio run fine with the default settings, but high-power games like BeamNG.Drive, Asetto Corsa and Cities Skylines are only playable with the lowest settings, and even that pins the GPU usage at 100%. Recently, the computer shuts off under high loads like high-power games, video editing, CAD or machine learning. I believe this is because of the GPU overheating because the monitors blank out first, and then the lights on the keyboard turn off after a second or two. Is this really because of the GPU? Is there anything I can do with the GPU to fix this temporarily (I just need it to work for school and programming. I can put off on gaming for now)? I also want to buy a new GPU (after the prices go down). I want an RTX 3060, but which one would be the best for the specs I have without causing bottlenecks (My budget is $400 Canadian [after the prices go down]). How would a card like the RTX 4/5/6/8000 Fair or justify there extensive cost in a dedicated live streaming PC, or a PC that one may decide to use adjacent to a live streaming rig? Would there be any select benefits, like the Quadro based drivers? Physical inputs on the card that geforce cards do not possess? fathom me please
