Hi all, I just picked up a new Pixel 7 and loaded both my email accounts onto it. One is a gmail account and the other is through a different domain for work. I'm getting notifications just fine for my gmail account, but the other isn't working. Once I open the app and switch to that account all the notifications come at once, but never when the emails actually arrive. The account has notifications enabled and is set to sync, and I've already disabled battery optimization for the app. Any other ideas? I had no issue getting push notifications for both accounts on my old phone. Thanks!

Browser, version and OS: Chrome 111.0.5563.118 ChromeOS Probably also Firefox on Linux but I haven't checked yet Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened? What happened? I am getting notifications for Off-Topic when I haven't followed it, and I don't know how to stop it What did you expect to happen? Not get notifications for Off-Topic Link to a page where it happened, if applicable: Screenshots of the issue, if applicable: Any other relevant details: I am following tech news, all of the things I follow will have me in the list I also got one for Graphics Cards If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

So I haven't used discord on my phone for quite a while and I've had my phone tell me numerous time that it has put it to "deep sleep" whatever that is. Now i've gone back to using it to chat with friends but i don't recieve notiffcations or if i do it's much later then when the message is sent. Why is that and how do i fix it? Device: Samsung A50

Hi, I've recently set some notifications to be ignored directly on them when they were displayed, but now I would like them back. The problem is it's not a separate application but rather it was a part of the settings or automatic file download sections. Is there any way to unignore them?

Common Questions: *Any virus or spyware found post install? (NO, checked with Malwarebytes, Dr.webs & Kaspersky) *Firmware might have to be downgraded on late batch phones? (that is indeed a maybe) *GMS works and can safely be updated? (YES, just search for it in browser and let it send you to the right place in the play store) *Google Payment system named Google Pay. (NO, Google has aditional security features so that is a no go...) *Severe bugs or glitches? (Nothing yet but I have been looking deliberately!) Firmware downgrade (only if method above fails)

Now this is a weird one, I have no clue if they're related, but they both happened after coming home to my PC being off when I had left it on. First off has to do with my audio. I have a Scarlett 2i2 1st Gen with an XLR mic, and after turning my computer back on I have no input audio anywhere. Discord and FL Studio both show my 2i2 as an input device, but no audio is picked up by either program even though I can hear myself through the direct monitoring. I can also hear all PC audio through the interface's output. Switching my mic to the second channel does not fix the problem, and reinstalling the drivers also did nothing. The second problem also appeared at the same time. Windows notification tab/action center will not open, even if I have unread notifications. I have tried all of the solutions here, and none of them changed anything. I also installed the latest Windows feature update and that didn't change anything. I have no clue where else to go short of reinstalling Windows, but I want to go through all my options before dealing with that.

First youtube changed the way comments on chrome worked on my desktop chrome browser that removed the ability to reply in the pop up window of the notifications and forced you to go directly to the video, that sucked but at least it still provided a bit of waning functionality. Then doing the same thing took you to the video that was greyed out with a message that it could not load, all the while the audio was playing in the background and no comments were loaded. So the entire POINT of responding with a click was made moot. And then today, just now, it's STILL broken but the video shows up and plays (still no comments) WTF, no one else is complaining so I suspect google engineers have specifically targeted me as a sacrificial lamb to see how I cope. Why am I made to suffer? Why can't this be spread to more of you? Responding to comments is extremely important to my usage. I say the following with no ego. I am a light in the darkness of nonsense on the web, that last ray of hope left over in pandoras box after all the evils have been unleashed. Slowing down my responses darkens the entire world.

Is it possible to interact with notifications in the action center in Win 10 similar to how we interact with notifications on our mobile devices(opening the appropriate programs, etc.)?

I'm using Windows 10 on pc. When I'm on Twitter on my browser, I usually click on 'Notifications' to see who retweeted my tweets, liked my tweets, followed me and so on. It's also the same place that I used to get notifications for from whoever liked my YouTube videos. It was nice to see who liked my videos, that way I could repay in kind by visiting their YT channel and liking one or two of their videos out of respect and to show reciprocation. Sharing is a good thing. My issue: For some reason those notifications of fellow YTbers who liked my videos don't show up on the Twitter 'Notifications' page anymore even though I've checked with other Youtubers/Twitter followers and they are 'liking' my YT videos. It makes no difference whether I click on 'All' or 'Mentions', the liked videos aren't showing up anymore. Everything else like retweets, liked tweets and new followers shows up normally. I double checked that my Twitter account is linked to Youtube. I checked my Twitter settings and Google also has access to Twitter. In Twitter settings all my notifications are turned on. I also have all notifications turned on in Windows 10. Please let me know why I'm having this issue. Twitter has no email support or any kind of online support. If you do manage to open a ticket with the site, they just say thank you for your feedback and that they can't respond on a one on one basis. They also have a knowledge base section which didn't have my issue listed. Thank you for all your support.

Hi, I wanted to use the bell thingy to tell youtube that when I subscribe to the channel, I want to subscribe to the channel, but the best I can do is just get the list of subscriptions and click it one by one, which is really frustrating, since I have to click, wait for dialog box to open, click some more, wait for dialog box to close and repeat. So, my question is simple, is there a way to do this for all the channels? Thanks

So, here is the deal: I have both KDE plasma, LXDE and Gnome installed on my linux machine. I don't use Gnome regularly, but I have it as a fallback. I also have LXDE for when I use VNC remotely. Either way, recently I have been getting gnome/lxde (i can't be sure which style this is) notification messages instead of the typical KDE notification popup at the bottom of the screen. Here is an example of what I'm getting. Long story short, How can I get back to KDE style notifications? Thanks!

First of all, I want to start by saying that I don’t know if I am in the right section and if I’m not, I apologize. I wanted to know why I haven’t been getting YouTube notifications from LTT. The last time I got a notification was when Linus was streaming. And today, I noticed a new video, but I didn’t get notified. Does anyone know what’s the problem? EDIT: I have the notification bell on Notify All.

Most of the data on fitness trackers/smartwatches seems to point towards cramming more media functionality or high-end outdoors functions. However, I am looking for essentially the notification screen on my wrist, plus time, weather, stopwatch, and a heartbeat sensor. Must have 24 hours + of battery life, decently durable, and under $200 (apple watch, you are out). Anything extra is nice, but does anyone here have any thoughts on smartwatches or fitness trackers from a notifications perspective? Note that I do not need to be able to reply, just view. Currently looking at the Fitbit Charge 3, but the reviews aren't stellar. Let me know if there are other questions.

FB Messenger Notifications Not Working On 4G
Mike Soda posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
From what I can tell, all my facebook messenger app settings for notifications are turned on for my galaxy s7. Yet it still refuses to let me know of new messages when I'm using 4g & not wifi. Is there a way I can force it & any other app I choose to give me notifications regardless of if I'm using wifi or 4g? -
I am a react native developer and have been playing around stuff for quite some weeks now. I recently stumbled upon a problem, How to send notifications in react native apps when the app is not loaded in the memory. Like notification in the app that can be triggered from the server side.

Android Pie severed the ability to have notification sounds (sounds other than a call ringtone) play over the device's speaker when corded/bluetooth headphones/vehicle are connected. So if say you have headphones connected, any notification (other than a call) is inaudible if the headphones are not in/on ear. There is no support channel I can find to submit this OS fail to Android, and I have started this petition, but in my limited circle, it hasnt gotten very far yet. http://chng.it/4WV6Dsdr I have likely oversimplified the explanation of the ramifications of the issue here. It is a major productivity killer. Does anyone here have suggestions? I have not been able to root my device, nor do i really want to go there and do that.

Would be glad if someone could help me, as I searched nearly everywhere but haven't found what I was looking for... Is there some kind of plugin or technique that can let me have notifications that triggers from logs that come up in a server basically it should look like this: Rest API/other -> Server -> log into the server -> notification being triggered and pushed Is there a way to code that, or even better if someone already did it and I can buy it/code it ? Thanks in advance !

Mostly I'm looking for a simple wearable to see whatever notification just blew up my phone. I don't need fitness tracking, GPS or watch-based cellular. I'm a noob to this category so all I've really seen so far is either a Fitbit on the cheap at Amazon, or the iWatch on the top end. Can anyone point me in the direction of something in-between that has good battery life & build quality but isn't gonna cost my other t*sticle? I'll take the options listed above if I need to, but I'd prefer not to pay extra for features I probably won't use much. I'm on Android with a G5S+ running 7.1.1 if that helps. Won't be buying until after the holidays (USA), but that will give me plenty of time to dig into the specs once I know where I can start.

Is there a plugin or extension for Chrome that allows you to view your notification history? For example, if you get a Facebook notification, Chrome tends to show you on the bottom right of the screen. But sometimes I might miss it, and so i'm wondering if there is a way to check the notification history.

Hello everyone, Recently I have updated my laptop to the newest windows 10 1809 build. However I am facing an issue, I am no longer recieving pop up notifications or banners. They are still present in my activity center but they dont pop up on screen. I have tried several fixes in the settings but to no avail. I tried googling for awnsers but I end up only with results of people wanting to disable notifications. If anyone has a solution please let me know. Kind regards. So as per this thread I disabled updates in group policy which worked well since then, but today I was greeted with the dreaded red sign of "there are updates available please update". So I'm wondering if I can turn off these update notifications in group policy editor as well? I've seen the option but I'm unsure as always with Microsoft the descriptions can be kinda misleading or sometimes outright deceiving... So will this work? PS: I (probably) disabled the notifications with SU10 for now but that is tedious as it requires a restart and also whatever you do in SU10 tends to get overwritten by windows anyway. Btw win version is windows 10 pro 1809 Thanks.

How do you turn off updates indefinitely on android 10 (ie samsung A41)? Or rather the notifications. I already turned off auto updates, and the update service for good measure. However I keep getting a new notification about how I should update and get "new features" about every 24 hours... Though I don't want new features the ones the phone already has are bad enough, it can't even play a gif continuously on the "AOD" like why even have the option then? Lol But yeah seriously I can deal with everything (already disabled all that "be happy"samsung bs, but I *cannot* deal with daily update notifications, this is my phone and I'm not going to update it, end of story. There gotta be a way to make this notifications stop!?

--------------------------------------------- Summary Story first? I realized I miss Tech News. Why did I not watch Tech News for so long? ...I was asking. Went to the Social tab in my gmail and realized, last video upload notification from YT was 6 days ago. What a bummer. Lets troubleshoot! but nothing helped. I found a video of a man explaining. He linked a source, so Im inserting this to the sources. Video for lazy people, Googles source for readers. TLDR: headline. Quotes My thoughts I would like to express my emotions rather than thoughts.. but im usually holding my carp together. Rather, what are we left with? Smartphone notifications - which I hate.. its spam on my little handheld screen. I need important notifications. Entertainment belongs to PC for me. Windows notifications - which are clunky. I never read those. and I try to have as little mess there as possible. Differs at my work laptop from my PC of course. YouTube top right corner bell icon - which yes, leaves me with only notifications I have turned on for channels, but thumbnails are obsolete!! Thumbnails are obsolete all in all for me this way. I will never see a video thumbnail probably, since I am organized person, and I watch what I want. Not what is recommended. Your thoughts? Sources Explanation I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meZY0pcIYDk&fbclid=IwAR0ni1uYOELksixz_bsyoMU9Hh332mAkvppL6fUyXLrv9qq22ythraTvmP8 Actual source: https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/63269933?hl=en

Sup everyone! I'm looking for simple hardware monitoring software. While HWMonitor is great, it's missing two key features I'd like to have: Background monitoring (no active window) Real-time "emergency" notifications (e.g. when CPU fan stops working) The software should be free and not bloatware, trying to install unwanted software. My now "ancient" PC came with software called ASUS PC Probe. It had those features and was easy to use, something similar to that would be great. The main goal is to have something running in the background that does the checking for me, so I don't have to always keep an eye on stuff myself.
