Good day Guys, I need help with MS Excel 365 (Desktop version). I've been trying to fix it for days with no luck. (google, youtube, forums, etc) Excel is a very important tool in my job and it has been a nightmare. Issue: All colored cells appear white (no color), if I try to color them I get a black box. (cell shading, fill color, etc) Every time I click TAB to go forward one cell, I get black cells in the whole row or sometimes in the cell I just left. When opening an excel file with this issue, I usually get a big black box covering most cells. What I tried: This does not happen to other excel files on the same pc, in the same folder. I tried "damaged" files on another pc, and everything works as it should. I create a new sheet inside the "damaged" excel file and it works fine. I tried clearing all rules in conditional formatting (I've never used conditional formation) I tried on/off high contrast on windows. These "damaged" excel files come from progressive files. What I mean is: I have file 1, 2, 3 up to 52. For every week in a year. 2 has traces of 1, and Etc. I am at file 38 (38th week in the year) when I started experiencing these issues. All files 1-38 are damaged. However, other excel files with a different names (no relation) within the same folder are OK. Finally, I've never opened file 1 through 35 in weeks, and have same symptoms. THESE FILES WORK FINE ON OTHER COMPUTERS. I attached two pictures. On picture "1" you will see a black box. I actually try to fill or shade that particular cell in yellow. Picture "2" is what I usually get when I open a "damaged" excel file; behind all black I have data. (both colored, and black and white) Sorry the long post, I am desperate. If you need any extra info, just let me know.

1) Simply having a lower frequency wavelength does not automatically mean it is less harmful than a high frequency wavelength. It is possible to have high energy low frequency and low energy high frequency. It's called amplitude. 2) There have been studies correlating RF radiation to cancer. For example, this one here found brain tumors in most cases to be on the side of the brain where the phone was closest to: https://www.emfacts.com/2006/04/further-article-on-the-latest-swedish-cell-phone-study/ 10% of the sample that got a tumor was people with extremely high cell phone usage. And this one found a clear relation between RF radiation and brain tumors in rats: http://www.biorxiv.org/content/biorxiv/early/2016/05/26/055699.full.pdf 3) Some people said that the tests on rats don't represent humans, however rats are specifically used in lab testing because of how similar their brain is to the human brain. The reason the link between RF and tumors was found is because they used higher dosage, such as 9 hours a day for months straight. Very few people use their cell phone that much, which is why studies on large groups of people can't find a statistically significant difference. 4) The conclusion is yes cell phones cause cancer, just like nearly everything else in life, but it will only make a difference if you use the cell phone for CALLS (with it next to your head) for many hours a day nearly every day of your life. From what I see these days, most people use their phone for texting or internet, rarely making phone calls. So basically nobody is at any risk of getting cancer from their phone. Any future studies on humans will probably find the same, no increased chance of cancer, since people don't use phones to calls as often like they did 10-20 years ago. If you happen to be a special person that needs to make phone calls the entire day, every day, then use a headset or speaker so your phone isn't against your head for thousands of hours. Then you won't have any increased risk, since RF power decreases exponentially the farther it is. Even a few centimeters would probably be enough to make any chances of cancer negligible.

I just found this rather fascinating, and wanted to share to see what others think about this: http://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(16)31664-6 Basically the study says that they have gotten successful results on reversing aging in human and mice cells You can find more dry information in the link. The way I understand is that they managed to partially reprogram the cells and in doing so they achieve result of not causing any tumors to form while reversing the cell aging, which as far as I know was the main issue with the whole idea I personally think this is absolutely amazing. I thought we were tens of years away from any of this. Mind blown.

I have a Zenphone 2 and looking to upgrade phones. I use T-Mobile, and the phone works great for the most part, the main problem with it is that the GPS sucks so much on it. Anything I can do to make it better or a better phone to move too? Looking on the cheap end of things, I only use my phone for GPS and really play Yugioh Duel links the only game I play on it. The rest is normal facebook things and youtube. I don't care about camera at all.

I've been reading a lot about cell networks, towers, transceivers, etc recently. It got me thinking: If a hacker was able to spoof a cell tower or create an mitm cellular access point, could the hacker potentially use that to get free or anonymous service by piggybacking off of of people connecting to the rogue ap? For example, when creating a fake wireless access point, people will connect to your computer first, then the intended network, which allows you to spoof their ip and Mac address or even poison their dns cache to divert them to fake websites. Could this potentially be achieved on a cellular network?

So I'm looking into picking up a laptop, and as I'm reviewing the specs of two models it seems one of them has a 4-cell battery and one has a 6-cell. They're both 2800 mAh lithium-ion batteries, only the cells are different. What does this mean and how important is it? Should I compromise a lot for 2 more cells even if the 4-cell laptop is better in other areas?? Thanks in advance.

My grandfather is in his mid 80's, and he never carries his current *cellphone* The Samsung T669 Gravity T : This phone is ancient, and he said "If I had one of the phones like you lot, with the chess, and the pokeMAN, I would carry it like you want me to." It needs to be cheap, like 60$ is my upper limit, as he is not the fastest to react and can very easily get it stolen/lose it. It needs to run Android 4 or Newer. It needs to be durable. (Or Have case options) It needs to have battery life for at least a day or two at Idle. It needs to be compatible with T-Mobile bands (In the USA) It needs to be within the size area of around 4-5'" , No phablets. Media features are simply unneeded, as the man could honestly care less about most of that stuff, at the most i'll toss a gigabyte or two of Johnny cash CDs and stuff on it Yes, we own the CDs. Any thoughts and comments will be appreciated. SOURCES: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_t669_gravity_t-3336.php

OK so long story short, I want a standing -holds my phone so i can see it- Qi Wireless charger for my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Yes, it has a replacement back cover for charging over Qi) I have a flat lay down one from Powerbot that cost me 8$ and it suits me fine. Fast charging would be nice, but isnt completely needed, 1.5A is fine for me. It will be sitting on my black glass/wood/aluminium desk, it needs to hold my phone, preferably connect to micro USB but I can handle proprietary cables. I want it cheap. Real cheap. 15$ USD or lower. I understand if that's a hard price to hit. But, my Flat charger was half that price , and really what makes a standing one special, a piece of plastic? https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Charge-Wireless-Charging-Stand/dp/B01BMDQ9U8/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1472413796&sr=1-12&keywords=qi Something like that but, not, that pricey.

Can somebody explain why voltage doesn't affect mAh? If i have a phone, rated at whatever mAh and a battery back rated at let's say 10000 mAh, why does the amount of recharge cycles not depend on voltage at all? why can this battery bank supply 10000 milliamps of current at 1 volt and 10000 milliamps of current at 5v without it changing how long it lasts? (or maybe i have that wrong and somebody can explain what actually happens)

The Canadian telecom regulator (CRTC) has banned Bell from allowing the data from the Bell TV app to not count towards their monthly data limit. This is a good ruling since it eliminates the unfair advantage that a Bell's own data was getting. After all, data is data, no matter where it comes from. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/net-neutrality-crtc-bans-bell-from-subsidizing-data-usage-for-mobile-tv-app/article22696253/

Was wondering with the new update for android allowing 64bit processors to be used, with the amount of ram in phones, (no more than 3GB), what is actually the point of having 64bit in phones. Also the introduction of more budget phones running chips like the snapdragon 410, what benefits does this give to budget phones which are likely not to have any more than 2GB of ram for a long while.

Researchers at MSU have performed scientific witchcraft in order to create transparent solar cells, what is usually an oxymoron given how solar cells capture light and make power. But these cells don't have the same issues. They only have ~1% efficiency, they are aiming for 5%. Its not a perfect creation but it is a proper start and its a very cool development all the same. Certainly, some of the coolest tech news I've seen in a while. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/188667-a-fully-transparent-solar-cell-that-could-make-every-window-and-screen-a-power-source

Ok, so I'm sure we've all heard the reasoning given by manufacturers and reviewers for having bezels on displays (like the chin on the moto 360, seen below (image from techradar)) being somewhere to put the display drivers. So my question, simply is this: Why do the drivers have to be in line with the display, couldn't the panel manufacturers 'hide' these behind the panel, therefor negating the need for such big bezels and making the footprint of the phone smaller? Just looking at the phones coming out of MWC, this has been something I've puzzled over for years. There is probably an easy answer but there doesn't seem to be any info out there on this, at least none that I could find when I looked into it, so I thought I would open this up to see if any of you know why this is the case. Thanks.

I currently have a Japanese cell phone, a Kyocera Digno S (Model KYL21). I want to use it when I return to the US so I have been researching the requirements to do so. It appears that the first thing I will have to do is root the phone. I haven't found any information that makes me think my phone is unrootable, though I am using Google Translate to read Japanese forums so I could have missed something. Beyond the rooting of my phone, I think I will have to find a carrier that supports the phone's GSM frequencies. I will be using AT&T and according to their website they support my phone's operating frequencies. So, I'm fairly confident that my phone will be useable in the US, but it's always good to check. Please tell me if I have missed something and if my conclusion is correct. Thanks in advance.
