So recently i had to install a program called AutoDesk Inventor on my laptop for a welding class at my school, however a 10Gb download latter i keep getting errors when i try to run it and eventually gave up and started using the potato's my school provides. problem now is i can't uninstall it for what seems like no reason leaving me with 10gb of unusable space on my laptop. How do i uninstall this? and can it be done without installing anything from a 3rd party? I want everything from AutoDesk gone. (Core i5 560 (2.7Ghz) and Kingston v300 120gb ssd so my hardware shouldn't be an issue here)

Hi, I recently installed cloudready 's chromium os on my laptop. used it for a while and now it seems that its just not enough for my usage. I tried installing Windows 10 and during the installation i saw that chrome os has created 27 partitions of my SSD. Also there's no response from Cloudready forums regarding this, I followed the steps mentioned on their site but it's not uninstalling. Now how do I reset this laptop and remove all those partitions from my SSD so I can install win10.

Recently every time I try and run Amazon Prime instant video on this Samsung smart TV, I get this: If you are having trouble with Amazon video service, go to (useless help URL). As expected, that Amazon help page is in no way actually helpful. So next I navigated to the app in the Samsung store, but the uninstall button is grayed out and unclickable for Prime video. Why could that be and how should I go about fixing it?

I just swapped out my old motherboard (gigabyte Ga-970a-d3p Rev 1.0) to a newer one (rev 2.1). I was having issues with my old motherboard, all kinds of blue screens. That's why i swapped them out. My question is: how do i get rid of my old Mobo drivers so i can install the new ones? The driver disc went from version 1.9 to version 2.5. Thanks.

I've been developing apps for a couple of years now using visual studio but with all the different versions they are just adding the same things under different folder names, it's gotten to the point where the apps won't run because these back end processes are conflicting with each other. I've trying modifying the installation to see if it would fix itself, repairing the installation and uninstalling but the folders that it uses remain so the problem still exists, how do I clean install this program or possibly find all the folders that it uses to delete them?

Hello guys!,I am going to be buying a AMD Radeon r9 380 and I can't find a detailed video/article explaining how to delete all the drivers properly.. do I use the Crimson install manager or Device manager to delete it all? I don't trust DDU uninstaller/any "non-major" third party companies or AMD clean Uninstall utility because it kills your USB ports.. I have heard horror stories on the internet Thanks! Have a nice day!PS: any good video links will be GREATLY appreciated and I use CRIMSON drivers Specs: i5 4460 3.2 ghz r7 360 oc 16 GB RAM

My mom has a Note 5 and the last day or so she's been getting this popup about Gear VR almost every time she unlocks her phone, which she has to close out of. It's quite annoying, and there is no option I can see to make it stop popping up, as she has no interest in VR. Is there any way to get rid of this?

Recently, my father gave me his old gaming PC. It was built to run XP and nothing else. I used it for a while, mainly because he had a lot of music on there that reminded me of my younger days, I never really did anything else on there. Then one day I go to boot it up and it just automatically starts updating itself to Vista. Now its running Vista sp2 and the poor old thing can't handle it! Is there any way I can reverse this?

Hi, I recently upgraded to windows 10, and with it, came a new volume bar (yay...). So my situation is I have a HP TouchSmart 320 pc (don't judge) with integrated Beats audio (don't judge) which came with its own Beats volume bar. After a while it stopped working, and every time I changed the volume the bar would show as white, unclickable, without any texture on it. Volume worked but I had no way of knowing at what level of volume it was (the bar I'm talking about is the one that pops in the middle of the screen whenever you change the volume). But it was still working, and to this day if I click over where it is supposed to appear it will show as the front window (this is very irritating when playing full screen games). So I installed a default volume indicator from HP which showed me the actual volume level, while the white rectangle that used to be the beats audio bar was still showing, so I had 2 (quite big) volume bars appearing every time I changed the volume. Windows 10 came, and with it the small uninstrusive volume bar at the top left corner which I like, but that also meant that now I have 3 volume indicators whenever I change the volume. Is there any way to get rid of the volume bars from beats and the one I downloaded from HP? Thanks.

So last week when i last really used my PC (been sick all week) everything was working fine. Yesterday i tried to use my controller (for gaming using bluetooth, ps4 controller), it didn't work. Well it showed that it was connected because the light on the back was on. But windows showed nothing and the controller didn't do anything. So i tried to do what i always do in these situations and that's to remove the controller from the devices/printers thingy and re-add it. The removing didn't, and still won't, work. It just sits there saying removing device. After 2 hours yesterday it still said that. A restart didn't help and took over 20 mins, i just sat there doing nothing giving only a black screen. After at least 20 minutes it suddenly restarted out of nowhere and booted fine. But the controller is still there and not removed. I also use a special driver to make it function like a x360 controller and i tried uninstalling that driver... same thing. It just sits there and does NOTHING. Now i'm trying to completely uninstall the microsoft bluetooth driver by just uninstalling the device in device manager and it's the same thing. just that annoying green bar endlessly moving from left to right. If i want to shut down my pc now i have to wait 20mins+ to actually have it power off.... Does anyone know WTF is going on here? I had this happen before and i didn't wanna deal with this crap and just reinstalled windows... i want to avoid that this time if at all possible :(.

So, way back when I had a crappy windows 7 prebuilt, I wanted to install ubuntu - no idea why, I wasn't particularly tech savvy at the time - and because of this, I installed 32bit ubuntu onto a 64bit computer. whoops. Whenever I tried to boot into ubuntu, the screen would do some funky black and white stuff and then restart. This was installed on the same SSD as windows that my friend put in for me Fast forward to now I have custom built machine and decided to salvage that SSD, and install windows 10, but the ubuntu partition is still on this drive. Every time I boot up the system I have the option to start in ubuntu. I want to delete these partitions but when I go into disk management, there are no ubuntu partitions, there are no ubuntu files on my C:\ drive. So basically, after some googling, I can't find anybody who has the same issue and was hoping somebody on here could help me get rid of the option to boot into ubuntu

No clue if anyone on here even uses linux distros but whatever, I'm gonna post anyways. So, I originally started off with simply Win 10 and wanted to add on ubuntu as a dual boot. I shrunk my C: Partition by 30 GB and installed ubuntu onto its own 30GB partition. Eventually I just didn't really use Ubuntu anymore so I went about uninstalling it. First I went onto Windows and Uninstalled the program Ubuntu from the Programs/Features List. I followed up by wiping the partition it was installed on. Converting that Partition to unallocated space, then re-adding it to my C drive. Current Partitions: It seemed all was fine until I rebooted my PC. I was greeted by the Grub menu. So Following seeing that, I rebooted and checked my boot menu. And for some odd reason ubuntu was still there. Current Boot Menu: I've tried (and with no luck): Factory Image Restore Command Prompt in startup: bootrec /fixmbr /fixboot etc... Using 3rd Party Software like EasyBCD BCDEdit: Msconfig: Windows Startup Repair So with all that spew out of the way, is there any way to simply get my windows back by itself? Modern PC's don't give recovery disks anymore which is BS so I can't just do a full drive wipe and reinstall windows without having to spend another $80 or so. Thanks for any tips, I really just want to get grub/ubuntu off of this pc since I'm trying to sell it soon.

Hi guys, I have a bit of a issue. Today, steam wouldn't run (windows 8.1) and the blue wheel spun for a few seconds when I click on the steam icon before quitting. I clicked the uninstall button in the steam folder, which deleted the game files in the folder, but not the actual application. I then tried uninstalling steam from the control panel, but steam wasn't there. So I manually tried uninstalling steam by dragging it to the recycle bin. This was followed by an error telling me that I couldn't do this because this file was still open in steam bootstrapper. I tried closing steam bootstrapper from task manager, but was denied permission to do that. Could anybody please help?

I can't uninstall ads by La Superba and it's freaking me out! I have windows 7. There is no program listed as ads by la superba in the programs and features tab of the control panel. I have tried system recovery to 22 September, 2015, the day before the ads started popping up. there is no chrome extension for it, there is no proof that it exists other than the constant ads popping up everytime i click! Can someone please either walk me through how to uninstall it, or even link me to a trusted uninstaller? Please, it's 2:30 in the morning and I have an essay due in tomorrow at noon that requires constant internet use, and this virus is blocking me off!
