There are plenty of China-based automakers (conglomerates really) who I could see be interested in such a deal. They have little to no credibility on their own, but unde Apple's market? It's plausible. Though of course with messy trade affairs going on between the US and China, I can see why Apple hasn't approached them instead.

They would've been fine if they just didn't release for the PS4. I really don't understand it. Were they just that greedy that they felt the need to release for platforms that they knew couldn't handle it? Or were they just required to have backwards compatibility with the PS4?

I refuse to believe in TDPs anymore. But seeing as how my 3900X is rated at 105W TDP and the 5900X's is supposedly rated higher (and I'm already struggling to tame this beast at 80C at a 4.3GHz all-core OC @1.25V) does not bode well for those of us on 280mm AIOs.
