The i5 3330 is a good processor but its showing its age, so since you have a decent budget and already a head start on some parts, might as well invest in a new one. Here is what I suggest:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
    CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor  ($109.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
    Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($74.99 @ Micro Center)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($59.99 @ Micro Center)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card  ($189.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($64.99 @ NCIX US)
    Total: $574.92
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Also, you never did mention if you needed memory or not, so I went ahead and added it. If you don't need it, just deduct the price from the total.

This is not a bad setup, But no SSD? Here, I switched out the motherboard to a less expensive one, and added a 120GB SSD. I left the rest of it alone. You can OC this but not by much, due to your PSU wattage.

    Thanks for the recommendations.
I can see where your coming from with some parts. But unfortunately i don't really like a few of them.

First of all, I would prefer to have a hyper-threaded i7 for video editing, which the 8350 , although cheaper, doesn't have.
Also, I don't have a need or want for an SSD, and would much rather have a large HDD or maybe even an SSHD than a small SSD.
I plan to overclock my cpu so the motherboard should be a Z77 (if i go with the 3770K).
I would like to have a better air cooler, such as a Phantek.
The rest of the modifications are actually quite ok

I assume you aren't starting fresh from scratch, so disregard any parts you do not need. Also, don't listen to the fan boys. AMD CPU's are just fine. They'll suit whatever needs you may have. They won't be the same as Intel, but they aren't bad products as some may lead you to believe.
