@wanderingfool2 you clearly are dead set on dying on this hill, so...

What you need to do is take it up with a lawyer.   Cuz my opinion (and everyone else's opinion in here) is worth the pixels it's typed out with.

So, be mad all you want, but unless you're willing to take it up with the legal system?  I'm over it.

    Also:

If you're trying to compare a fucking phone case to a medically certified product?  Jesus Christ, see a doctor, you probably pulled half a dozen muscles with that reach.  (Or make the comparison when Hydro Dipping has government oversight in how it's done / made and what not.)

What's limiting your gameplay in the current build?

If nothing's hindering your gaming enjoyment with this build, you don't need to worry about upgrading right now.   Wait till later.

no, that will absolutely not work that way, sorry.

    much like @Needfuldoer said

I'd ditch all of your existing SATA Drives from your PC.

Put in 4 of the 1.6TB Drives in a Storage Spaces array.  That'd be about 4.8/4.3TB of SATA SSD Storage, which is pretty legit.

Or use most of them and build an 8-10 disk array in a NAS and just have a ton of SSD NAS Storage

Those datacenter SSDs may not be fast, but they're resilient. 880 TBW for the 1.6TB version.

Honestly, just use them as you would any other SATA SSD. Replace your smaller data drives with them. If you run them in a Storage Spaces pool, you won't have to worry about running out of space on any one of your former storage drives.

tkitch reacted to ChitterCharmer in VPNs are basically useless as confirmed through testing.
    Summary
In two related studies researchers have found a way to sidestep VPNs anonymizing features. One that targets everything but Android and releases all information to the hostile network. The other confirming a separate yet equally active bug in Android that leaks DNS information at specified, yet often situations.

    My thoughts
I genuinely think that this has wide reaching implications for the tech industry at large. The Android Bug can be fixed more easily then the TunnelVision vulnerability. Which could lead a lot of security driven users to follow a protocol of connecting to their mobile device after making sure it is on fully, doing what they need to do, disconnecting their device, then disconnecting their phone. This leak and bug discovery affects security as a whole and I think it is interesting how LONG this vulnerability has been in the wild by researcher calculation.

buying a 7700k would be a terrible investment.  They're exceptionally overpriced for what you get.

So, IDK about europe where you are, but this is a MUCH smarter upgrade:

On ebay in america a 7700k is ~120$ USD

    On Amazon:
    i3 14100F = 100$
    B760 mATX DDR4 (so reuse your RAM) = 100$

120$ for a small cpu upgrade, or 200$ for a new platform that'd SMOKE that upgrade.
