The video that may come out today may be one of those way later than usual ones like the kind they make for Apple events and such. It could either be that or like @Zodiark1593 said, they may have had a slip in schedule.

You'll get supported for a while and like @SupaKomputasaid you should probably try to return it as although you may get updates for a few good years, developers may not support x86 for so long considering that everything is going to be switched to arm. -
