  1. 1080p 60hz the 970 will be enough even in new games if you reduce settings to medium/high. The new GPUs are launching this year both by AMD and Nvidia so better to wait you will get much better performance then current generation GPUs.
  2. I don't think is going from 240hz to 165hz monitor and based on the two choices he has 1440p 165hz seems to be the better option for him even in competitive eSports until and unless he decides to participate in those eSports tournaments where every frame matter. And people restrict to 144/165hz because of the their budgets not everyone has the budget to afford those high refresh monitors and not to mention the high end CPUs and GPUs you need to achieve those frames.
  3. I would advise to go for the 1440p one at 165hz. Also I don't think many people can actually notice the difference between 165hz and 240hz but 1440p does look better than 1080p even on my native 1080p monitor I play GTA V at 1440p (via Nvidia DSR) and it looks much better.
  4. We killed the Chinese in retaliatiory action. So what do you expect us to keep on getting killed ? Come to India and criticise our religion and politicians and then do the same in Afghanistan and see what happens. Next journalists in India have literally made a career by criticising the government and in some cases at the cost of national interests too. Those two journalists you mentioned were arrested in relation to some affiliation with terrorists and terrorism is one hell of a problem which India faces and it's a matter of national security and if you people view it as a matter of press freedom then it's your problem not ours. Our big problem is that our governments have always been inefficient in conveying the side of India to the world and that's why you people have so much of a distorted view of India being a oppressive or facist state which is totally false. Regarding the suspension of internet services in Kashmir it was after the government abrogated the special status given to the region and that special status was one of the major reasons for the rise of terrorism in the region. And to maintain peace and law and order in the state the internet services had to be suspended so that people do not spread rumours of calls for violence.
  5. The statement says 'threat to sovereignty and security' not just ' sovereignty. India will never be China 2.0 we are a proud democracy and not an authoritarian dictatorship like China. The current ruling party is never afraid of any criticism or negativity spread against it as most of it is spread through social media like YouTube, Facebook, Tweeter, WhatsApp, etc. which are not getting banned and sufficient negativity also spread through news channels and internet news portals which infact have grown since this new govt. came in power. And India never attacked China or any other country and infact China has captured so much of Indian territory in the past but previous governments never took a strict retaliatory action in fear of straining relations with China but this government is not like those previous ones the current political leadership has given a strict message that we won't give a single inch of our territory to the Chinese or any other country and that's why the scuffle happened last month where both sides lost their soldiers. And personally I'm not a big fan or supporter of this government either. I literally hate them for many things they do or did not do but on this Chinese issue they are doing all that they should do and can do.
  6. With that they might be able to run old games from GTA VC/SA era. Don't know exactly how good of an experience it will be though.
  7. Nope just don't do it you should wait till next generation launch.
  8. That's great news especially for the RTX 2060 owners. Hope more and more games implement this now.
  9. A 650W PSU instead for this build like for eg. Corsair RM 650 or even a CX 650.
  10. By default those would run at 2133mhz and you will have to enable XMP in the BIOS to run them at those rated speeds ie. 2933 or 3200mhz. That is technically OC too and if you don't wish to overclock the CPU and haven't brought it yet save your money by going for the 10700 non k variant or else a Ryzen 3700x should be a viable option too with better upgrade path then Intel. Most 3200mhz kits should work with the 10700k though infact my own CPU supports only 2933mhz but I'm running re 3200mhz C16 sticks too.
  11. Your CPU would definitely bottleneck modern GPUs so see if you could find a 3930k used and for GPU a 5600xt. Those should be within your 500 USD budget.
  12. I think this system should be good for a Home Cinema PC.
  13. This is perfectly normal man. Also what is the rated speed of your RAM ?
  14. For 1440p 120 fps you will need RTX 2070 super and above. But having said that you also need a CPU which can give you 120fps and yours might not be able to do so in new titles.
