If that was true there'd be a story like this every day from somewhere in the world :P

Pulmonary embolism IS actually pretty common in hospitals. As a respiratory therapist I see this every day. One of the most common causes of this is when a blood clot from the legs goes up to a lung artery causing stress and eventually death. This varies depending on how bad the situation is.

People who sits all day have more chance of developing a blood clot in a leg. My aunt just recently survived one. While it can be treated, more than one death does happens every day in every country because of this. That common is. :)

Possible that the old PSU did in the other new parts. Generally keeping the thing that feeds parts current after it's done "a bad" is a bad idea. Make sure no screws are shorting on the new mobo, and maybe check GPU in another system.

Maybe the old PSU damaged the mobo right? I posted the GPU info but now I'm not using the GPU. It is happening without it. Maybe I show buy another mobo again. Forgot to say that when it shuts down, I do the paper clip and the PSU does turn on and it turns on the system fans as well.

  3. I seriously need help, cause I keep spending money on new PC parts but nothing.

    Problem:

    ● 2 year old system stops booting. Mobo is dead, lighting storm happened by that time.
    ● Bought new mobo, CPU, RAM and kept the AX860i PSU from old build.
    ● New PC shuts down randomly and won't turn on unless I wait a couple of hours. PSU is thought to be faulty.
    ● Replaced the AX860i PSU with the EVGA G2 650 PSU(NEW).
    ● PC turns on with new PSU, but shuts down after awhile( anywhere from 10 min-2hrs) randomly.

    PC Specs:

    CPU: i3 6100
    RAM: 8GB FuryX DDR4
    MOBO: MSI H110i Pro ITX
    PSU: EVGA G2 650
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 ACX SC
    CPU COOLER: Cryorig H7
OTHER: 1 HDD, 1 SSD and 3 System Fans

    What I've done:

    ● Breadboard! First thing I did, out of the case. Only 24 pin and 4 pin PSU cables connected, and HDMI cable, PC shuts down later on anyways. ALL cables connectors are checked, including front panel connectors.
    ● Moved the PC and used another power outlet(just in case).
    ● Reseated CPU coolers(both stock and after market) a couple of times.
    ● Reseated RAM, checked with one stick, ran memtest(they passed).
    ● When the PC boots, I've done stress tests to CPU and the PC doesn't shut down.
    ● PC shuts down randomly regardless of what I'm doing, load, idle and even in the BIOS. It just happens.

    TEMPS:

    Idle
    CPU: 26°C
    GPU: 29°C

    Load
    CPU: 59°C
    GPU: 64°C

  4. Why and what happened?

I decided to make a budget mini ITX PC using the GPU, PSU and Fans of my other PC. The mobo, RAM, CPU and CPU cooler are all new. The PSU is the Corsair AX860i.

After I completed the build I ran it for awhile and tested but it shutted down. After pressing the power button I get no response at all, no lights, no fans nothing. So I re-checked cables, re-seated the CPU cooler multiple times, the same with RAM but still nothing.

Later on I turned it on, ran a game then closed it, checking the temps and the PC shuts down again. The PC was idle and the CPU temps were 26°C and the GPU 29°C.

Is always the same, turns on the PC then it shuts down later randomly doesn't matter if under load or idle. Then it won't do anything at all, I've checked the power cables like crazy too but nothing, also  happens with and without the GPU. So that's why I decided that the PSU would be bad?

    PC Specs:

    CPU: i3 6100

    Mobo: MSI H110i Pro(mini ITX)

    RAM: 8GB HyperX Fury DDR4

    GPU: GTX 780 EVGA ACX

    CPU Cooler: Cryorig H7

    PC Case: Define Nano S

    Other: 256GB SSD & 1TB HDD

Other: 3 Case Fans Through fan hub.

I don't like to cheap on the PSU that's why I kept the AX860i(from my older build) for this build. But $70 is all I got right now.

I was checking the Tier list indicated on the forum and I thought I could stretch a few bucks to buy the EVGA GQ 650 since is $73 in Amazon and it appears on Tier 2 list. Also is modular, it helps on a small case like mine.

Is there a better one for $70 in your opinion?

DVD is just installer. The package will have all codes and you can redeem them in Steam. If it for some reason have all codes, you will need to deal with Steam support. But since something like that would indicate that you have bought used or pirated version, they could just leave it like that.

    Thanks!

  6. I was going to buy Rocket League now with 40% off, until I saw that you can get 3 dlcs plus 4 new cars for $20 with the retail version. Problem is, my PC doesn't have a dvd drive, everything I use is digital download. So for those who own it already or those that know.

Question: Does include a code you can download everything from Steam without using the disc at all?

I've been looking everywhere for this, I found one video and it was pretty good but it's in german. I saw it does include a code for the 3 dlcs, but I wonder if that same code includes the main game as well.

I'm not understanding why you'd need 256GB of storage on a phone.

IDK... maybe because not everyone is like you? I store movies and series, my whole library of music(which now is around 130GB) on phone... why? Because not everyone does everything like you, get it? Just because is not use of you or someone else in this forum, doesn't mean it would not be of use for other. Pretty simple to understand actually, as most things in life.
