Hehe, I should be good for a while. Scored a 1600W T2 on sale years ago, I'll be covered on wattage for a while yet. Think it still has 7 or so years of warranty left too.
Really all "work" programs, they usually support Nvidia better. Or Nvidia supports them better? Same difference, Nvidia comes out on top.

I do hope AMD gets their act together on the driver side, they make really cool hardware then just kind of dump it on the market with juuuust usable (only sometimes in my experience) drivers. Hopefully Intel adding to the GPU competition soonish will push AMD to invest more in their Radeon side.

Yes . I would do the same .but if there is  no other upgrade for the difference then I won't condem it . As I my self was one of those how had overkill psu and when I upgraded to 3000 series it was just enough

Most singularity case designs are open case designs that's why I chose them. If u are set on a brand like ek or alphacool.  Just order from their website or someone like performance pc or titan rig . I got my whole loop from titan rig as . I has like 90% ek and gpu block alphacool (ek didn't have one for my gpu) and some bitspower things like ball valve and temp sensor and some g1/4 plugs that I liked their design. While iam not a big fan of soft tubing.  There is no doubt that hands down its more functional and secure.

If u want go baller build do a double loop with like crazy case that got space for like 2 480 rads (chances is gonna be caselabs case ) go for unique tubing  like carbon fibre.  . Or go something from singularity cases for watercooling cases that looks great

I already have. That's why I said my when temps get hot . And i even made a custom fan curve using Corsair commander Pro . I made fan curve to make PC dead silent which seemed good but doesn't look good atm 😕. I guess I would need to make a new more aggressive fan curve

Idk changing the whole thing feels like a waste . U would be hard impressed by how much your PC would feel with a better gpu . And may be a newer cpu
But gpu would do wonders to your PC as 4 gbs vram is soo little nowadays

Try using a psu calculator because it might be your PSU can't handle your system when  gpu spikes.  It's a pretty known thing about 3000 series.  Also u might want to buy an air cooler or aio for your cpu as  idle up to 60 c is too high

What we're talking about is this
    https://nzxt.com/product/bld-kit-starter-pro-pc

It's basically a prebuilt that isn't built. It comes with all the instructions on how to assemble it, has a full warranty where you just need to contact one people, and everything is thoroughly labeled to make it pretty straight forward to build.

It's kinda like buying a lego set vs. buying a bunch of legos. One way you know you've got everything you need to make a particular thing, and you know exactly how to make it, the other way it's up to you to know what to make in the end, what you need to make it, and source all the pieces individially. One way is definitely cheaper than the other and both are definitely fun, it's just up to the person which one is better. Personally, I'm more in the "let me pick my own stuff" camp, but if you just want something that's guaranteed to work and still be able to say "I built my computer" this is a great option, especially since they have a phone help line that you can call if you have any questions rather than making a post on here and waiting for someone to eventually get back to you (plus they're paid to know how to explain stuff, some instructions given on here, including my own, can be a bit convoluted and hard to follow).

Is there is a reason for the upgrade. Rtx 2070 is a good card .
For example the only reason I upgraded my gpu as it was starting to suffer in newer games . Idk if 2070 reached that point yet . But even though I would hold out to 40xx . At that point worst case u would buy an 3080ti with its msrp now . Or buy a 4080 for the same price or cheaper

Well . I think u should give NZXT bld a look .(check from the price difference)  but what great in it for u is
1 u get all the items u need and the are compatible.
2 u get all the tools u need
3 u get a guide on how to build your PC step by step
4 Most Important is u still have a full warranty
5 u can see the fps u will get in your game of choosing

Only think idk how good is it . Is the price but check their list and see how much would it cost u to buy from somewhere else

chaotic kronos reacted to Martycrane in 360mm Radiator Enough for 3080ti and 9900kf ?
no worries, i could have been more specific as well. outside of those two components though, there's not really a whole lot of power draw in the system. maybe 100 watts total if you've gone full rgb bling. i can't see that whole system pulling more than 800 watts, but you also don't have to cool that whole draw, only the cpu and cpu. vrm's if you're going full cover block. call it 700? that's definitely on the highside for a single 360 but it's doable if you up the thickness or run push/pull.

completely agree that more rad is better though, like i said, i'm doing 2 360's or a 360 and a 420 when i go custom loop so i can run it almost silent.

People claimed that a single rad won't be enough for a cpu and gpu. However a single rad for gpu is perfect. And yes it as easy as installing another rad and cpu block later and changing acouple of tube runs . It should be normal for you to run your aio for cpu and custom loop for gpu and add cpu block and another rad whenever you feel like it

My god . I never did say use the same cables. I said disconnect them from components and connected other psu ( WITH ITS OWN CABLES)  from the side after removing side panel . The same way some people use an spare psu to fill their custom loop so they won't keep connecting a d disconnecting cables. What iam saying is a way to check if its a psu problem without having to remove your psu or it's cables from case. You let the spare sitting outside case and connected directly to the components (with its own cables)

There is a difference for making 4 loops for looks (your choice) or think that u must run 2 loops ( at that point that person isn't doing it cuz his choice but he thought its a must ) . And lest be realistic every custom loop pc is kinda over kill and waste of money . Including my pc

Yeah . We r talking about the same thing but in a single loop there is no rad to 1 component . It's all rads to all components

Dude do a single loop that contains cpu and gpu unless you are going for a world record in overclocking. It would be a waste of money and time to dual loop your system.  Just 1 loop connecting every thing .

Sadly it might be that his fan is dying.  The good news is that it's replaceable so u can get a new one . Frist check if producing company might sell a replacement for you . If not . EBay is the way to go . Also u might find a replacement in local computer store which does repairs on graphics cards

Well originally i sold both my 1070's for a 2080super 3 months before 3000-series got here..
Then i realised i should have sold my 2080super when it went for 13000NOK (1.8times what i buyed it for 7500NOK) at the 3000-series launch..

Ended up selling my 2080super to a teen up north in norway as his first gpu trough mail.
Think i had half the 18000NOK for the 3080ti, i knew i had the money so i just took it with a payment plan and its now paid 4 months later lol.
Ended up buying the 3080ti for 19500NOK i think, with 1500NOK being the rents just to loan lol haha, i hope i'll never need to loan in the future.
    (Outside a new house/home tho haha 😄)

I got the 3080ti for 18000NOK with a 10% discount because ive spent on the store.. Only now to return it.. 4-5 months later?
Not sure this is where i would like to be, also im now realising that a 6900XT is probably alot colder/cooled than a 3080ti..

Mostly seeing this from my brothers 6800XT doing 63c full-load with fans going 85-100% tho..
Seeing the card im borrowing now doing death-stranding at nearly max graphics with 67c..
I dont understand how, but its a thick card tho? My 3080ti would be more silent but thats because its even bigger and longer 😐

Oh well, praying i get it back fixed or a replacement card..

Only wished the 3000TI-series had a OC WHITE edition.. as it would look so much cooler with my Lian Li Dynamic case haha xD
