  1. Again its because of the supply chain, things which are manufactured locally dont have extravagant taxes on them. Imported items do. As much as I hate the iPhone pricing here, its not something Apple does.
  2. afaik just shifting the same architecture to a smaller node can do wonders for efficiency, but maybe it dont work like that
  3. adblock works flawlessly for me, so I havent seen ads on YT in a while.
  4. I mean why hasn't Intel moved the igpu off die and make it a chiplet design? Having that Igpu as a seperate die could help yeilds and costs, in laptops they could probably have it monolithic, just like AMD does it. Removing it may not be an option, because there are people who need a powerful CPU but not much GPU power. So why dont they just do that?

  6. Import duties on electronics here (in India) start at 27% to 30%, so its not only Apple but any electronic gadget that's overpriced, but Chinese companies have been able to sell stuff for cheap because they have a local manufacturing base. Apple has some plants here too, but i guess margins are more important to them.
  7. Samsung had the s9 and s9+ listed on its site a month back, i'll update the post with a link if its still listed.
  8. well then, you can try Team Speak, its similar to Discord.
