While adding a popup would be nice, I'd imagine there would then be requests to add "popup reminders" for every piece of content linked to from an external domain name. This applies to content hosted on Discord, Imgur, DeviantArt, or anywhere, really.
The reality is if you don't upload the content to a source / server you control, expect it to disappear from the internet at some point in the future. Sucks, but not really something any forum board operator can really be responsible for. Just my 2 bits. 🙂

No, I would never do that.
So, will this device require a PSN account?

Dead thread revival. Not technically Anime as it's not from Japan/Asia but I saw Mars Express in theater today on it's very limited US release. Good movie. Not for everyone.

How dare we not talk about tech in the one part of the forum we don't have to talk about tech in.
Mods, ban us all!

Actually no for once. Just pyramids of spoilers. 2 of which have "?" at the end, and 1 has a quote to Sub so that sub had to go through them until they found the quote.

Because Caroline I assume got a new profile, that's there new one hence low post count.
The community standards DOESN'T say we have to post in the tech portion of the forum.
Most of use here are using this thread like discord honestly we like to talk about stuff and this is the place we did it.
Bro mods do same here. Chill, nothing need to be serious, there is a reason why even though alot of dont like Linus still use this fourm.

Alot of forum regulars are like that. Heck this thread is shitpost thread/members off topic thread.

Read the rules and there's no rule against "posting in off-topic" like it's literally a section of the forum for topics that don't belong in any of the other subs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you're this mad unironically just hide Off-Topic or don't comment in any of the topics, ain't that hard.
Oh but I do comment in other sections, from time to time, I can make serious comments. I get the impression you're just jelly I'm an expert in power supplies, EE, and... Half-Life lore? oh well that's gotta account for something too.
edit:
So they don't delete it. Interesting.
I banned myself. Forum was kind of dead after the pandemic (except for Off-Topic lol) and I don't like keeping random accounts I won't use anymore.

Summary
Sony made the Sony Portable Data Transmitter, device meant for the media markets.
updated device to the Sony Xperia PRO 5G a phone meant to stream video from a camera over 5G.
This model has RJ45 to connect to sport style cameras (A9 and A1) to upload photos.
Full size HDMI for streaming off of video cameras (Cine,ENG,MILC, pro camcorders etc)
Or USB-c to livestream directly off of cameras.
MSRP, 1,100 USD.

My thoughts
Please don't make this about the hell divers debacle. Anyway this device will probably not be used by most normal consumer, its nice to see its better than previous generation by using full size hdmi instead of mini.
Its 1000 dollars cheaper than the previous generation and its about the same price as apple and samsung flagships.

I can see one-man-band MMJs carrying these, or maybe crews in small media markets, but when you have both a videographer and a reporter they're going to run a real camera and a bonded cell system from the likes of Dejero, LiveU, or TVU. These phones aren't going to revolutionize newsgathering for big-market network affiliates and O&Os. (And not just because it completely lacks SDI.)
The problem with using a phone is that you only have one cell modem. Even if you're running HEVC, one carrier's spectrum can get too congested for passable video. I've seen this happen at parades and sporting events when the cell carriers don't roll a truck. You'll get a much more trustworthy connection if you bond a dozen cell modems together. (And they have to be from T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. Forget the MVNOs.) Sometimes you can get around this by subscribing to "first responder" plans that aren't available to the general public, so your devices get priority on the mobile network, but even that isn't a guarantee.
I've been in local TV news for over 10 years. I've watched bonded cell solutions evolve from Pelican cases (Dejero GoBox) and custom housings with USB cell modems literally taped together (TVUPack TM8200) and Proton Pack looking monstrosities with a coffee can antenna housing (first generation LiveU), down to a box about the size of a VHS cassette (LiveU LU300S). Now a backpack-size unit can stream four full HD HEVC streams with identical latency, and dock into a truck or car with high gain antennas on its roof.
These systems are more expensive than that phone, but they're much less expensive than rolling out a microwave network or paying Intelsat for uplink time and rolling a real satellite truck to every scene, and almost as reliable. (Actually much more reliable since your uplink system isn't embedded in a vehicle that can break down. I've actually seen live trucks get towed to a courthouse for a big trial, because the truck itself was dead but the generator and all the gear inside worked just fine.) Even still, the pack is a relatively small ticket item considering the tens of thousands of dollars' worth of equipment a news crew hauls around with them (a 2/3 shoulder camera, fluid head, tripod, at least two lights... It adds up fast even before you add all the little stuff they need.)
