It's worth it if you want something compact and sleek, and very nice looking ofcourse. The problem with pre-builds is: they will always be more expensive then building your own pc. With the Corsair ONE you are mainly paying for the chassis and compactness. If I had the money AND I didnt care about FPS per dollar I would buy it because it looks awesome.

I just wish Corsair would make a budget option.

It's cool how the topic title has the name of the product in it, but the video title lacks this information. Do you guys realize it makes it rather hard to share your content a while after it's released? Lately someone made a topic asking how they could find the 2060 review, because it didn't have 2060 in the title, it was just called "why would you even" or something. I think if the video title matched the topic title it would be a lot better.

LlamaFamah got a reaction from Tony Montana in Safe /Right Temperature reading for Ryzen 7 1700
(1) Does it matter? Not really. As long as it isn't squishing off of the spreader onto the rest of the motherboard, you should be alright. Bad application is not as bad as none, to a point. Assuming you aren't going Threadripper, a pea sized dot or two of it should do the trick.
(2) What CPU?
Don't get stressed about it. It is like adult legos for a simple build. Hardest part for me was the front panel connectors.
Remember, there are thousands of videos on the topic and the entire internet is here to help with any bumps along the way.
Good luck!

LlamaFamah got a reaction from Taranth in Can anyone give me some advice about upgrading my GPU
If they are the same socket, then it is as easy as unscrewing your cooler, taking the old out, and carefully placing the new in. No need for new mobo or ram.

The new 1660's will definitely run at your goal frame rate as well as the resolution.
There will be little to no bottle-necking, though this can very depending on the game. (as stated above)
If you have money to spend, go ahead with a new i7 or even high-end i5.

LlamaFamah got a reaction from Bayonett Priest in Need more hotkeys!
There are a multitude of macro tool videos on youtube by LMG as well as Taran himself. Look for some of those.

In my opinion, its just about the phone.
Pixel will naturally work better.

LlamaFamah got a reaction from Electronics Wizardy in Hackintosh build planning
I'd suggest buying a 2012 mac mini off of ebay, and upgrading ram, storage, etc. It will come with Windows, and then all you need to do is get Bootcamp and run Windows alongside.
This is what I did for mine. Spent 350 or so

LlamaFamah reacted to SupaKomputa in APU + GPU?
You can combine APU + GPU but for AMD only, cannot mix with nvidia.
The APU is so bad and the GPU is super outdated.
If you wanna game, i suggest buying a used cheap gpu like GTX 950 or RX460.
