Yeah, those temps should be fine.

I'll tell you what I do though.
I have set dates for maintenance and cleaning of my PC.
They are Monthly, every 6 months, and every 12 months.
Every month, I give my computer a light aesthetic cleaning on the intake grills, lighting, peripherals and other noticeable things, as well as making sure nothing is out of the ordinary and making sure everything is working the way it should. I also do a full virus scan with Norton Antivirus, and defragment all of my HDD's and SSD's manually.
Lastly, I move files to optimise space, clean up my SSD to preserve space, as well as doing a health check on my SSD to ensure the integrity of the flash storage.
Every 6 months, I do all of the above, but also:
I take my computer outside, use my handheld air blower (Kinda like a mini leaf blower)
Here it is on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Portable-Dust-Leaf-Handheld-Air-Blower/291772674824?epid=1071305230&hash=item43ef01b308:g:7AEAAOSw-29ZRpu
To blow all of the dust out.  Making sure to get all of the the fans, the gpu, PSU, Radiator (Obviously if you have an air cooler for your CPU then you would do that instead) intake and exhaust ports, hard drive cage, etc.  Basically anywhere where there is dust, blow it away!  Sometimes it will be nescisary to remove certain parts to ensure a cleaner finish, but MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG ALL OF THE FANS BEFORE USING A BLOWER OR YOU MAY OVERSPIN THEM CAUSING POWER TO FEEDBACK INTO YOUR MOTHERBOARD, GRAPHICS CARD, OR POWER SUPPLY, WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY DAMAGE, OR DISTROY THEM, SO BE CAREFUL!
Every 12 months, I do all of the above, but also:
I remove the heatsink to my Graphics card and the waterblock for my CPU (Or cpu cooler), remove the old thermal paste and apply a new layer of high quality thermal paste to both.
I will revise my cable management, decide what is needed in terms of upgrades to storage, CPU, GPU, replacement case parts, RAM, etc, by again, doing benchmarks, analysing data usage, memory bandwidth, and lots of other factors.
Now obviously you don't HAVE to follow these tips, but they are there for you to take into consideration if you do so wish.
And if you really are worried about your GPU then I do have one other suggestion:
I would much prefer my card do be a bit loud than running too hot, so I have a custom fan curve set in MSI afterburner so that the card stays cooler than it would at it's standard fan curve.
And while it does of course run louder, the solution is to wear headphones, or to consider investing in some cheap sound dampening foam for the inside of your case.  So unless you are a serious surround sound speaker user, then I think you should be fine with something like that.

If you have any questions about the essay of a reply I have just put then please ask

Since I am chasing resolution and frames I upgrade as soon as possible.

Even though I tried to get away from 4k by having my main gaming PC on an ultra wide I bought a 4k TV last black Friday and now I am back on it.
It is like a drug and I am addicted so I won't stop until I can do 4k with all frames over 120. Then It will be 4k ultrawide so it will probably never end.

what is the tool you use to mesure the speed of your components ?

Hey guys, as pc enthusiasts, I was wondering how often do you upgrade your build/replace your pc?
By upgrade I mean: Changing one pc components no matter what it is by a better one(Not adding a new component)
Just a quick question because I was wondering

Upgrade when it becomes potato to me. Replace if it dead.

until something breaks, usually 4+ years
if that part is cpu/ mobo, meaning a platform upgrade

Only if I can double a components speed for a reasonable price. not interested in small % upgrades.

Main reason for me not upgrading my 10 year old motherboard is due to the cost of having to double it's speed.

A single guide won't be enough, ongoing research and learning is required for a very good idea on these things. That's usually the reason it's a good idea to save money and spend less on your first PC, rather than making expensive mistakes.

    I can't remember. Try NAND overage 2019.

What it costs per gigabyte. Considering that NVMe and SATA have almost no appreciable performance difference for loading applications, NVMe basically gets tossed out the window if you're budget conscious. Aside from that, other factors to consider may be if you think it's worth getting a DRAMless SSD which is cheaper, but it may experience more latency than an SSD with DRAM.

However, I think as long as you're getting an SSD from a reputable company, it'll be miles better than an HDD for application loading.

If you haven't bought the machine yet (my assumption) - perhaps (as you've gone with a 144 Hz monitor) you might want to spend the extra $80 to go up to a GTX 1060 6GB rather than an extra stick of RAM (however some modern games do appreciate the extra RAM over the graphics horsepower)

I assume you mean from 8 gb to 16 gb?

If you're playing memory intensive games (simulators mostly), then most likely yes, you should see a difference. If you play esports games then probably 8GB is fine.

It's generally very difficult to give RAM capacity recommendations (especially with the amount of detail you provided) as you either have enough, in which case everything is fine, or you don't, which will mean signifficant dips in performance as the data is shifted from RAM (fast) to page file on your drive (slow)

8GB is a must for Windows 10, 16GB can improve multitasking capability, and you probably don't need more unless you're doing some complex 3D rendering or CAD work, or you want to configure a RAM disk.

if you're not running out of memory while gaming then no, more memory won't change a thing.

but what will change is getting another memory stick for Dual Channel, 2 identical memory sticks in Dual Channel will double the bandwidth that is fed to your CPU and will increase performance depending on the situation and it's always preferred.

also i think 16GB should be standard these days

It needs to be the same speed regarding "Mhz" and (i think) "CL x(x = Number)). Preferably you should buy the same ram again.

I would say the Asus VG248QE is one of the best monitors for what you are looking for, also what GPU do you have?

The Viewsonic. Best stand, least gaudy design.
