Well I have good news I think.  Finished building, turned her on, and everything lit up like I would expect it to.  Posted as well.  I used five fans per hub for my chaotic yet somehow orderly mind (2 hubs, 10 fans, 5 fans a hub) and each hub's fans even show their own color group (hub 1's five fans are all blue, hub 2's are all green).  I think that bodes well.  If I do end up blowing the jrainbow header, I'll either get it fixed or buy a new board if nessacary (old one will be kept for future build that doesn't have RGB if the rest of the board is still good.)

Now to see if I can control each fan separately and properly but that's an adventure for myself (hopefully I won't need to ask questions and it'll all just work ha).  Thanks for your help.  I'll definitely not go for cheap fans in the future.  Though in my opinion, some of the prices I'm seeing for fans from well known makers is crazy.  73 dollars for three Corsair SP120s would mean I'd be spending more on fans than I did for my monitor lol

EDIT:  Also, I did a quick search and I think what may have saved my mobo is that the hubs said to plug them into the CPU fan header, not SYS fan, so I did and MSI says the CPU fan header can handle 2A of current, not just 1.  Might've saved me lol

depends on the workload, some favor higher bandwidth than latency and some favor latency over bandwidth, if it's just a normal machine for doing light workloads like watching or browsing or just general office work, then it doesn't matter really..

Yeah, I'd definitely do that.  My laptop hadn't ever been cleaned and when I finally was able to tear it apart, I found two dust bunnys the size of my thumb in the fan that actually had caused it to stop spinning.  One of them was completely opaque.  Plus I got to see the damage after I'd spilled ham juice on it a few years back.  No wonder it was so crappy XD  It did seem to work a little better but I'm still glad I got this system.  Also I'm gonna upload my build video tonight to Youtube.  It's two hours long XD It took so long that you can see as it gets lighter outside in the background lol

Logan.   Mr. Logan worked for Thomas & Betts, an electrical company, and eventually ended his career with the company as its Vice President of Research and Development, a title he more than earned.   While touring a Boeing aircraft plant in 1956, he observed various aircraft being wired. Aircraft wiring was a cumbersome and detailed undertaking during this time, involving thousands of feet of wire organized on sheets of 50-foot long plywood and held in place with knotted, waxcoated, braided nylon cord. Each knot had to be pulled tight by wrapping the cord around one's finger which sometimes cut the operator's fingers until they developed thick calluses or "hamburger hands." Maurus was convinced there had to be an easier, more forgiving, way to accomplish this critical task. For the next couple of years, he experimented with various tools and materials.   Then finally, in 1958, he had created his solution. On June 24, 1958, a patent for the cable tie, more ubiquitously known as the zip tie, was submitted. Thus, one of the great unsung heroes of aircraft, car, and PC builder everywhere was created.   Mr. Logan passed away on November 12, 2007 at the age of 86.

I bought the case a long time ago, before I knew anything really about building a PC.  I think I was following a build guide from the PCMR reddit but then over time, I changed it.  I didn't even realize it had a front mount till I read the online manual.  It's a intake (atleast that's what they say on the manual) that sits in front of the four 3.5" trays.  It took me 10 minutes for me, my brother, and my friend to find lol You have to pull the front panel off to get at it.
Then of course I need it dwag.  I needs all the cred I can get my hands on after this mess of a thread lol

I want to thank you.  I've been watching a few videos and it seems like I've managed to find a time where you can get cards like the 580 for decently cheap.
