Do non-gamer need low cas latency ram?

Does low CAS latency ram only benefit to who plays game?

depends on the workload, some favor higher bandwidth than latency and some favor latency over bandwidth, if it's just a normal machine for doing light workloads like watching or browsing or just general office work, then it doesn't matter really..

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

No, you benefit from it in all cases of computing exceeding normal office use, eg videode/encoding, intense computing like boinc or F@H.

Just don’t get a 2666MHz CL22 kit unless you REALLY need ECC memory.

Yea, you can find better kits for dirt cheap nowadays so yea no point in that..
