Good to hear, 1100Mhz is a nice sweet spot OC, esp without voltage.

So I got my 290 up to 1100mhz with no voltage change (from 977). I think I am going to keep it there. Don't really feel comfortable going past. Thanks for the help!

Asus K53E: It was used for some very light gaming, but mostly school work. I have never any problems with it. I upgraded it to Windows 8 (from 7), 8gb of ram, and a 500gb Seagate Hybrid drive. It is a great notebook.

If only.... I am currently folding on my gaming rig. Wish i could have a dedicated system for it. Maybe someday! Btw, just wondering when/if i may get a badge for folding (don't quite understand how badges work.)

Now that we are coming into the winter months when it is going to get pretty nippy, this is something interesting to consider.
They compared a PC to a heater and the results are kinda awesome. I know I will be leaving my pc on.
