for 5 years i think you should be ok with an i5-8600 (non-k) 16gb of ram is plenty (you can add later) and a gtx1080ti
that's if it's just for gaming and not streaming video editing ...

That system absolutely won't last five years for AAA gaming, especially with his display.

Drop in a new GPU and check your PSU and maybe replace that too. CPU is still great

I think you are being Dishonest with saying "Rich guy" when you are spending 1300$ on a 2080ti Alone.... Ive had my PC for 3 years and havent had a NEED to upgrade, and could be find for years. 

Uh, that's like the most insignificant and useless difference between the two cases............
You should not be looking at stuff like that when comparing cases.

but that will bring it's own problems. rich people are more often than not some of the most miserable people you will meet.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it reduces many of the stressors that can cause UNhappiness..
 
..bringing its own stressors with IT at the same time. 
 
Of course I'd rather be in my current position than return to living cheque to cheque.
