What? The 7700x is not bottlenecking the  4070ti.  Next step would be 7800X3D but you won't see much performance gain mate. The 7700x is plenty fast.  The 7700x is one of the fastest gaming CPU's on the market.  I'd almost say that your 4070ti is bottlenecking the CPU.
Dont use PC bottleneck calculators, they suck.
Here is a 10 game average with a 4090 in 1080p and 1440p by Hardware Unboxed. I'd say the 7700x do quite well...

That 7700x is perfect for the 4070 ti. Maybe even more than perfect. No need to upgrade. A 7800X3D is only really necessary for a 4090

An RTX 2070 is overkill for a 1080p panel. An RTX 2060 will serve you well and will be cheaper.

There are a lot of Google services that were cut from Edge, and these cut services help contribute to better performance. All the services that were cut had something to do with data collection, so if you like privacy that is great.

Sounds to me like a messed up driver. If you recently updated the laptops display driver, revert to the old driver and see if the problem persists.

If you have not recently updated drivers, please do so.

If it is heat related, you can monitor using HWMonitor. This will give you temperatures on board and around the laptop to see if it is that.

    Hello,

You could go for 3600mhz ram and an Asus TUF or Aorus elite/pro x570 (lower price than the Taichi). Also the Fractal Design Meshify S2 or Lian Li PC-O11 Air would allow great airflow and good watercooling support (both at ~150$).

You guys made a video on Windows Vista a little while ago. Could you make a video about Windows XP and how it made such a massive impact? That would be really cool.

You will need an old CPU. AMD provides a convenient method to update the BIOS.

If you need a CPU to perform a UEFI update, AMD will ship you one, provided you have made a valid purchase of a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU and can’t boot the motherboard due to a UEFI update issue. Send AMD a photo of your CPU (with serial numbers visible) and a copy or summary of communication with your motherboard manufacturer to indicate why support from the OEM won’t resolve the problem. AMD’s help page goes through several options that may help users fix the problem without needing a new CPU, but whether these work will depend on whether the motherboard supports features like UEFI / BIOS flashback.

You cannot use a laptop as a display for a console without a capture card. Laptop HDMI ports are always output only. And the process of setting up a capture card is difficult, and the cards themselves are expensive.

You won't be able to use your Xbox with your laptop like that. The name says it all. An HDMI in is an input (takes in signals) and an HDMI out is an output (sends out signals). Your laptop has an output.

The CPU will not hold back any GPU. You could slap a 2080 Ti in your system, and the CPU would not be a bottleneck. So it does not matter what GPU you put in your system.

Aperture9999999 got a reaction from TrainFan475 in How did you get into tech?
For me, it started when my brother locked himself out of his computer. I started looking for solutions, and along the way came across tech sites like HowToGeek (In case you were wondering, I never was able to unlock that computer and had to reinstall Windows). I started looking for tech content on Youtube, and found Linus Tech Tips. Been a subscriber since 2014. Since then, I've built seven custom machines for people and have helped many people with other computer problems. Linus is the reason I'm obsessed with all things computers today, and I am really thankful for that.
