Best productivity keyboard right here. I am usi…

As somebody who does not, I didn't even think of it! Vintage blacks are quite possibly the best switch to type on full stop, and as a college student that is a very welcome thing. @Den-Fi
  2. Best productivity keyboard right here. I am using it actively as my main keyboard, love it. Space is a bit stiff, but I can get used to that because of how amazing it is otherwise.

@DrMacintosh Honestly the only thing I can't type on is MX Red's, other than that I agree.

I might have lied. A Monster Energy Drink improves my wpm by about 10 words.

@DrMacintosh I'm consistent around 80-90 WPM, no matter what

  3. I didn't say I want examples outside of memes, I want examples of these nazistic facist memes that made Pepe and Dues Vult symbols of white supremacy, nazism, racism, ect. Also, that was the only guardian article I have read that didn't melt my brain with its bias and lack of sources. I'm actually a little shocked.
  4. Strange that it's certain brands, because I can tell you from experience Fiat-Chrysler vehicles don't experience any weirdness. Good to know though!
  5. He ran out of video ideas 10 years ago, lmfao. Pewdiepie relies on controversy to remain culturally relevant because he can't come to grips with the fact that people don't really care about him anymore. Logan and Jake Paul did the same thing, and notice how nobody talks about them anymore? It's only a matter of time before felix is resigned to the same cultural irrelevancy.
  6. Prior to the 30's the swastika was used in pre-christian europe, which I would not exactly concider "modern history". I would like examples of this. I don't hang around many fascists, but I have hardly ever seen pepe used outside of memes/meme content. Same for dues vult. I definitely believe you are in the majority there with swastikas. I don't think a game dev could get away with it in 2019 regardless of a valid reason, even if the game specifically required it to be historically accurate and the point of the game was historical accuracy. Dues Vult I could atleast understand being on edge about, especially for games meant to be sold in non-christian dominant areas of the world where that phrase holds genuine meaning to that countries history. I still can't wrap my head around the pepe situation.
  7. I mean the difference is in modern history the swastika was always used as a symbol of hate. Pepe exists only in modern history, and is a meme.
  8. YT is banned in china, as lots of people have said here... All this has done is allowed the internet to further demonize the chinese government.
  9. I can't take that idea seriously simply because of the fact that pepe the frog is considered a symbol of white supremacist hate speech. By your logic if nazis started calling native americans watermelons because "theyre both red and soft haha", then we need to stop calling the melon a watermelon. Its a slippery slope.
  10. MFW people get offended by "god wills it". Also, agreed with Praesi above me.
  11. Not complete list of corrections/needed addendums from the video. Credit to YT comments and myself as my raging migraine is keeping me from thinking of them myself. "Siri can't mute notifications"- You're using the wrong phrase, ask siri to turn on do not disturb and she will listen. Is your point still valid that siri is rather limited? Yeah. "Apple Car Play is bad"- This is mostly if not entirely an issue with GM infotainment systems. FCA doesn't have the issues you're having, neither do most European companies. Per Anthony, Honda does experience the same issue. "Apple watch is limited in interacting with 3rd party apps"- This is a developer issue of the apps, smart watches are fairly dumb devices and can only do what they're coded to do, they can't figure out anything on their own the way a lot of other devices can. Will edit as a think of/see things I can confirm, but here ya go. Also, commenting on dictation is risky without an "in my experience" preface as it is very dependent on how long you've been using it and how strong your accent is if you have one. I can't make any dictation work for me, Siri, Google, Bixby, Alexa. None of them can understand me consistently because of my heavy and mixed accent.
  12. I never found much use for 3D touch over long press, honestly. I use an iPhone and have for a long time, and honestly forgot it existed until it was removed. I just found it annoying that a long, "soft" press enabled app rearrangement when I just wanted to rename a folder.
  13. You actually got me to watch an unbox therapy video... gg. Sweet laptop as well, I didn't know Vaio got sold off. Good riddance honestly, Sony struggled to make a good computer for most of its existence in the PC space and were renowned for massively bloated installs of Windows.
  14. 1) I have needed it from time to time, but I don't see it as a need of mine in the future. Honestly, anything I used a webcam for I could use my phone, I just found the webcam a little easier. 2) I actually had to google the priv to remind myself what it was, but I honestly don't think i'd ever use it. Anything smaller than a 10" netbook has keys far too small to make worth while. 3) Biggest one for me is the left handed market for mice, which is basically non existent. The only true left handed mouse I am aware of is the Deathadder 2013 lefty, which now goes for $150. $100 above retail. 4) I think the issue with tech companies is they all focus on besting the guy on top in their own game, innovation and marketing risks are basically dead in favor of glass slab phones and TG and RGB cases. Only recently are companies breaking these trends again.
  15. WOW does a G903 feel weird after using a lefty deathadder.

Speaking of, rip lefty deathadder. Its fixable but im gonna be spending some time modding it and removing weight, so it's out of service ATM.

  18. 1988=Modern??? 2 off the list were from 1988, and The Dark Knight Returns is from 1986. Only speaking to the Joker, because not only is that the conversation, I don't really read comics and really only keep up with his character arc: Joker has always pushed boundaries and been extreme, thats the point.

  20. Fun fact about this scene, the movie from this point on was basically rewritten because Heath decided to mess with the detonator instead of just pressing it once like he was supposed to.
  21. Citing primary source comics of a character that originated from comic books? Seems fishy to me chief! Nothing to see here! You said, and I quote, "its the joker, rated R or not the joker has never been grotesque" I proved you wrong, twice, and now you're changing your point. Not only are you changing your point you've made a point I can't even understand the end goal of saying. Comic books show humanity but not a character profile? I thought the point of comic books was un-lifelike characters to be amazed/revolted/amused at? What do you think happens when you bring the darkest character of comic book history to film? What do you honestly expect? If you expected anything other than Joker, The Dark Knight Rises, the " the dark movie phase" as you called it, I'm not sure how blind you can be. I also disagree with "people are clearly sick of the dark movie phase." Joker has grossed over $208 million in the US alone, and is Warners highest grossing film of the year. So I don't think that support people being sick of dark movies. Also, I haven't seen Joker yet, seeing it this weekend, but I can tell you at no point have I thought of the jokers character and been revolted. Mind you, if I was I would be a horrid prosecutor, but thats beyond the point.
  22. For gaming it makes basically 0 sense, but not everybody games.
  23. Also wrong. Joker has been shown to be a 'real person' throughout a good bit of his history. Joker has been through countless iterations as a character, which is fitting to his character. But I would argue he is "like a real person" in: Comics and TV from 1951-1966 Dark Knight Rises (he is depicted in a similar though more joker-y fashion to the old comics mentioned above)
  24. Joker has never been grotesque!? Joker is the character that forced the CCA to ban violent graphic images in comics in the 50's.
