    Buying just to play the new animal crossing game. Didn't want to pay for the 3ds but this is cheap enough that it's worth it

    Lots of things, just not PCs.  They are great for server and supercomputer applications... each core can run 8 threads, take that Intel
     
    And yes, IBM is mainly a research and consulting company these days.  Half the stuff that makes it into computers was initially invented by them.  The great thing is that they are more concerned with improving the world than making money, they love to share their innovations and are a big contributor to open source software.  If they cared about being protective with their technology patents they would own the world right now.

    Video games aren't the cause, mainstream media just likes to use them as a target because they don't really understand the experienceof playing one. I think all of us can agree here that killing in a vidoegame does not make you want to do it in real life.

    These consoles are both terribly under powered so I find it hilarious when they ague about which one has the most power. Xbox one is to PC as Linus is to 3 of Slick.
