Gray - EoL/obsolete and/or otherwise not recommended for purchase.
Green - small form-factor (gold and blue colors are disregarded due to scarcity of SFX PSUs)
Gold - best units in the tier (includes requirements for blue color in tier A)
Blue - quiet operation under moderate load (see details in the spreadsheet)
Hyphen / Dash - Series / lineups separator
Slash - Models (inside one series) separator
Parenthesis / Round brackets - Model variations (which belong to the same position)
Square brackets - Additional description (wattage range, part of SKU code, label / casing color, release year)

Low priority subtiers - Lack of info (no reviews) or minor issues (see the corresponding tab in the spreadsheet). Not recommended for purchase over any normal priority units.
Multi-rail units - Not necessarily better than single-rail units but provide an extra layer of protection by having 12V OCP set lower than total capacity, which is especially relevant for very high capacity units (=>1kW). Pay attention to rails configuration when using with high power draw components to avoid shutdowns.

[5] Corsair HX1200 and HX1200i units with LOT codes in range between 2030* and 2041* may exhibit motherboard compatibility issues, entitled for advanced RMA, source.
[6] Early EVGA G3 revisions had issues with out-of-spec performance under overload.
[7] Older Seasonic Focus revisions (made before 2018) had transient sensitivity issues. Some new SKUs are not affected because they were released later (Seasonic Focus GM/GX/PX refreshes, Phanteks AMP, NZXT C/E etc.).
[8] Seasonic PRIME based units experience shutdowns with RTX3080/3090 (and possibly RX6900 XT) GPUs, especially ones with unlocked power limit like FE and ASUS Strix. It is recommended, if going with such units, to overprovision wattage, 1kW for RTX3080 and 1.2kW for RTX3090, or power-limit the GPU, or performing a 'dirty' fix of disconnecting a pin of 12V V-sense wire from PSU-side connector of 24-pin motherboard cable (courtesy of Jonny Guru). Units based on post-2018 revisions of Seasonic Focus platform and majority of units by other OEMs are not affected.

Multi-rail units - Not necessarily better than single-rail units but provide an extra layer of protection by having 12V OCP set lower than total capacity, which is especially relevant for very high capacity units (=>1kW). sadly, EVGA doesn't send out reviewer samples so all we can currently do is take an educated guess from the backside. It looks to be a platform similar to CV650, basically a smaller versoin of BV. Do keep in mind that many cheap "FDB" fans are often either sleeve or rifle bearing

From the source here (and and attached image), it is an entirely different OEM than GF1/ARGB (CWT to High Power) with a lower operating ambient temperature rating (50C --> 40C). They probably did something with the LEDs (18 per ring) to address user control, but someone else could butt in here to fill in gaps.

Hardwareluxx (german) has tested the Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold, and provides some information about the fan. It's a Hong Hua HA9215VH12FD-F00 with Fluid Dynamic Bearing.
 
Primary capacitor is Nichicon 560µF 105°C 450V, secondary is Rubycon, but they don't mention the exact specs.

To start, a quote from Aristeidis Mpitziopoulos', which in this article will be referred to as Aris, review on Techpowerup about this very unit below.
 
This is something alarming on it's own already. The main FETs on the power supply explode after having handled a heavy load. They didn't fail during the actual OPP/OCP testing itself, but a few minutes after when the unit was turned on again. But this is sadly only the component that seems to cause most of this issues...
 
Gigabyte handling this finding - we tested it and it's fine
From here, Aris attempted to send his findings to Gigabyte. They chose to not recall the unit they sent him and tested around 10 units internally in their RMA division. From here, no issues were found and this was reported back to Aris. This is in every way a flawed way of testing. More about this can be found in the video here:
 
Gigabyte handling it's consumers - refusing support
Gigabyte has had many reviews on sites like NewEgg that claim DOA units, extreme coilwhine, killed components and much more. Normally I'm not one to react off consumer reviews because of their flawed nature, but when almost a majority of users has failures and there's a ground of suspicion what is the problem it becomes a different story. As of the time of writing, 142 out of the 242 reviews on the PSU are 1 star or "egg", all coming down to either extreme coil whine, system instability or the unit dying with no way of returning it without including the 3000 series card they bought it with. Even if it's understandable that Newegg/Gigabyte doesn't want a scalper to buy this and attempt to return the PSU, with a genuine failure this is an outright stupid thing to do.

Honestly, the best thing Gigabyte can do right now is putting on a forced recall on the unit. There are no exact numbers out there on the actual failure rate of the unit, but this isn't down to an early production sample unit or the occasional "lemon" you get with mass production. This is a widespread issue that can only be solved by using different parts in the PSU. They can either choose to take it off the market, issue a full recall and give people their money back, or introduce a revision/newer version of the product with higher end FETs from for example Infineon, with likely also a lower OCP/OPP setting.

Summary
NZXT is recalling all H1 cases due to a design error where one of the screws can cause sparks, making the case able to catch fire under normal use. If you have a H1 currently, contact h1support@nzxt.com for further assistence. NZXT didn't leave any details to the problem, gave no solution outside of contacting them and is only hinting to making a kit to solve the problem.

I personally think NZXT's response to this is lackluster. It's a good thing they've set up a separate support, halted sales and made some public feedback, but in this they didn't even detail the problem itself or link to the second post that discovered it around 20 days earlier than them coming out with it. I understand that looking into this issue takes a couple days, especially right now, but that doesn't excuse you from hinting at so many things without giving a proper breakdown of the problem in my eyes. Especially considering we're talking about a 350 dollar case here. I hope they do work things out and that current H1 users get compensated for this serious design error.
