  1. PST allows you to chain multiple fans together, it won't bring you any performance improvement. CO stands for continuous operation, it just has "better" (according to Arctic) bearing. It shouldn't have effect on performance, but it might run for longer period of time/generate less noise. Agreed, although it seems like there's exception when fans are at around 1000 RPM, there's noise from motor at that range, at least with standard (non CO) fan.
  2. The fans are pretty much on par (both noise and performance wise), so you don't need to replace stock fans on the AIO.
  3. Peripherals: eh, it depends Graphics cards: Sapphire, Palit, EVGA. Cases: Fractal Design (partly), Lianli, Deepcool. Making a box out of metal and plastic shouldn't be that hard, yet some companies manage to fuck it up (looking at you, the dunce at Fractal who came up with Vector RS or Define S2 Vision, NZXT, Cooler Master, Aerocool, Corsair, Bitfenix, etc.) RAM: doesn't matter. SSD: doesn't matter, just don't buy shit. Samsung drives are good, albeit overpriced, Crucial drives are good, Sabrent drives are good, upper range WD and even Kingston drives are good too... You get the idea. Cooling: Arctic, Scythe, Thermalright, Alpenfohn. Noctua&be Quiet! can GTFO with their brainwashed fan bases. PSUs: doesn't matter, tho Corsair and be Quiet! are usually ok. It seems like Seasonic is actually trying to become a trusted manufacturer too (I don't give a damn if their top of the line PSUs are great, the common PC user won't be buying them. Seasonic used to suck a major sack of donkey balls when it came to lower end of the market, but things are improving.) Motherboards: none. All companies suck in one way or other. You just have to choose a lesser evil. Tho I will give obligatory "F" to anyone who buys Anus motherboard and has to RMA it. HDD: eh, it depends.
  4. One could be clocked to reference specs, another could be factory overclocked.
  5. Just because it is Shimano it doesn't mean it is good. These days you'll only find 21 speed groupset on most basic MTBs. It's basically $15 rear derailleur paired with $10 twist shifters, which are not good.
  6. Looks like those dirt cheap Mongoose Walmart mountain bikes... Which isn't a good news. AMD pulling FX once again.
  7. Deathmatch of the ultimate RAM friendly aircoolers – R1 Universal vs Fuma 2. Who won? Who's next? You decide! EPIC aircoolersbattleofhistory
  8. AMD had issues with drivers on 5700/5700 XT cards, as well as with the BIOS on RX 5600. Nvidia didn't have issues on software side, but Turing cards had toasty memory, resulting in dead cards soon after the launch.
  9. Isn't this a reference PCB design by Nvidia? Asking because AIB boards like FTW3 have longer PCB without cut out.
  10. But that combo will struggle to maintain 144hz in more demanding titles like Modern Warfare or Horizon 4. It's not just competitive games that benefit from smoothness of 144hz. Going from 1080p to 1440p is decent improvement in quality, as long as you don't go overboard with the size of 1440p monitor.
  11. What if you want 1080p 144hz? 1440p 60 hz? 1440p 144hz? The more performance you want, the more you have to pay. In OP's case, even RX 5700 would be a big jump in performance, let alone 3060
  12. For graphics card that pull 200w or more, it is recommended to use two cables because connectors on the PSU side can be rather weak and fail with higher power draw. That does not apply to non-modular PSUs, which have cables soldered directly to the PCB.
  13. Just get Fuma 2. Very comparable performance (if not the same) without price premium and supreme RAM clearance. There's also Cryorig R1 Ultimate, but it doesn't seem to perform better than Fuma 2 from the reviews I have seen.
  14. You power it the same way as you would power a card with 2x 8-pin power plugs – use two cables from the PSU side.
  15. Thermalright Frost Spirit 140. Tho it seems like global release is delayed by quite a bit?
  16. Why not consider Sony Xperia I Mark II? Snapdragon 865 chipset that supports 5G, stereo speakers, high resolution displays, cameras are good too (I know it's not the priority). Best of all, it also has audio jack, SD card slot and IP68 rating.
  17. You can buy Poco F2 from banggood for 383€ if buying from the overseas warehouse or 401€ if buying from Spain warehouse. So it is cheaper than SE in Europe and basically the same price as NoR&D. Yes, it's not available worldwide, but I meant it as "what-if" scenario. But until oxygenOS 11 is not released, NoR&D users will be shit out of luck. Just because many devices these days don't have notification LED because of all-screen displays it doesn't mean it is a good idea. Yes, SD cards are not as fast as flash storage, but if you take lot of 4k videos, that internal space will fill up quickly. That's what you use SD card, just like you use HDD in PCs for mass storage. If I remember right, 64GB storage model is reserved for India, models for EU market start from 128GB. It's sad to see that key features of past Android phones are being killed off for no real reason. Regarding build quality, plastic frame would be fine if it were durable. It's not, so that's an issue. Internally, OneMinus used soft potmetal too, so the device is pretty fragile by today's standards. Also, there's quite a bit of empty space inside (not really a con, just nitpicking). And regarding the lack of audio jack – I guess it is fine if you only use wired headphones from time to time. But what if you want to connect the phone to your car stereo? That's another dongle. What if you want to use your phone as a media player/back up track player? That's most likely another dongle. What if you want to listen to music with your nice overhead headphones for maximum comfort? That's another dongle. What if you accidently lose the dongle you use with your regular pair of headphones? Yet another dongle. It's just so stupid to force people into either using dongles or shitty Bluetooth headphones. I undestand that people who like iOS don't have options, so they are forced to follow Apple's will. But Android users do have options, so why should we bend over and take massive anal fisting from lazy companies? There's Nubia Play 5G in that price range, tho you will have to get it from Banggood. You get 144Hz OLED instead of 90 Hz and main camera capable of taking 4k60fps videos (NoR&D's rear camera can only take 4k30FPS, at least for now). Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is more expensive than NoR&D, Motorola Edge as well. Derp moment, X2 Pro doesn't have 5G.
  18. As far as I know, it does not have notification LED, audio jack and SD card support. Storage amount is decent (albeit nothing special), but it is slow storage. Display is good, agreed on that. Camera is average, build quality is bad. So yeah, pretty much just another phone. https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_10x_pro_5g-10267.php This phone with oxygenOS would be pretty much the perfect mid range device for masses. How exactly is Chinese SE better than similar Chinese Android phones, like Poco F2?
  19. Um, did you check this? https://www.apple.com/support/products/iphone/#:~:text=Every iPhone comes with one, support and accidental damage coverage.
  20. Galaxy S10e? EU based devices have Exynos chipset, which has custom ROMs available if memory serves me right. It's compact, has better screen than either Nord or SE, won't break as easily as Nord, looks better than iPhone, has pretty capable cameras. Battery life isn't the best, but should still last a day. Without discount Nord is worth roughly 300€, 350€ would be kinda pushing it. 399€ MSRP makes it simply overpriced, it has no features that would warrant that price tag. iPhone SE has good chipset and camera software, but it is quite barebones, relies on brainwashed fan base to generate sales. OneMinus Nord has mediocre chipset, camera, general lack of feature, relies on brainwashed fan base to generate sales.
  21. Sadly, that guy has zero credibility as source, so no, it's unlikely that 3A will launch on 3rd of August.
  22. "Almost on par" OneMinus 7T getting rekt by almost 3 hours. Even on GSMArena review, depending on thetask difference was ranging from pretty small to few hours. That's not "almost on par". Also, Nord failed the durability test. 12GB RAM is pretty pointless feature for mid-range phone.
  23. So you are saying device with smaller battery and higher refresh rate display will have better battery life? And both seem to have same charging speed (30w bricks), tho OneMinus will charge up faster due to smaller battery. k. To OP: I'd personally go with Mi Note 10. I actually want to have useful features.
