  1. you could take it apart and try to bent things back, but it sounds like that is going to be a pain(especially since you don't want to take a hammer to the lens) you can try visiting a repair shop and see if they can do something for you without it costing too much, otherwise there is nothing else possible then replacing it
  2. your best options within the budget are either the sony HDR-CX440 or canon HF R700, they can both shoot 1080x1920 at 60fps, with good zoom ranges and USB connections to source data off. I can't comment on their "graininess" since this is dependent on the settings you are using to capture footage with and thus will vary in different scenario's. In theory both of them should allow for live capturing data without issues, although sometimes that gets locked out from cheaper devices to both protect them against overheating and have people more reasons to buy a step higher into their segments.
  3. I don't know how high your budget is or what your exact wishes are, but if you don't mind having to get dedicated lenses you might look into the blackmagic pocket cinema 4k model, which at $1.295 is pretty well priced and it having a micro four thirds sensor opens up a lot of options for lenses both natively and through adapters at reasonable prices. If you won't mind being stuck to a fixed lens you might look into a sony FDR-AX33 which has the typical camcorder format and roughly half the price.
  4. I was looking at the time stamps and noticed the category was set to "cars and vehicles"(auto's en voertuigen in dutch) might want to change that
  5. cleaningl with a vacuum cleaner wouldn't do any harm, atleast considering you don't please the electro engine close to it, the magnetic field from the vacuum cleaner's engine is most likely to be the bigger issue since it creates a potentially damaging electromagnetic field

Wait, what? You can change your username at wil…

    woah, thats huge!
  7. This sounds interesting, especially with the amount of android phones that would benefit from an OS update, although I doubt if companies are likely to look back at older models or low end phones a lot after 1-3 years but on the other hand, even more OS segmentation for developers!
  8. being worth a specific amount doesn't mean that you have it as spendable cash. Outside of that, there is only so much you can do within the law.
  9. I'm also having this issue with my (unused) epic games account lately, to login they need my e-mail if I remember correctly and I contacted support about it already, but received no response so far. Password also changed, but that isn't going to stop the mail coming to me again in a few days.
  10. although it might be worry some for future roads of youtube, I don't see a direct issue since guns here are strongly regulated here(even airsoft rifles require a fire arms license last time I checked) and things like that are pretty unthinkable. non the less sucks for the creators and their followings/communities.
  11. starting a business on something while you aren't capable of getting the essentials set up through your own research is a bad idea. as mentioned above me, there are a lot of factors that come into play including location, upload/download speeds, bandwith capacity, budget, commercial or residential and then we are still ignoring front end and back end support, license fees, power issues, upscaling, downscaling etc.
  12. you are going there for business related stuff yourself, now imagine someone randomly coming by at your appointment or while you are working to randomly take a selfie or a picture, ask some questions, have a random talk and then leave again. Would you like that? I personally wouldn't so I suggest not to do it especially since you wouldn't be allowed to enter the building anyway without appointment or valid reason, they had this stuff before(just as other channels) and they just have to show fans the door because they are working there and actually have stuff to do.
  13. so far I know most countries that where British colonies use the dollar, hong-kong, Australia, New zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Canada and the USA(as mentioned above) the caiman islands, jamaica, zimbabwe and many more I think it's just lack of inspiration from the colonizers to name currencies.

zijn we het daar niet allemaal over eens? in vedergeval, raad eens wie LTT weer eens bezoekt na lange afwezigheid.
  16. just looked at the cattips channel and it's subs are nearly at 90k already, is linus gonna break the barrier by just mentioning the thought? that's stupidly effective marketing and awesome. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL81YHgzH8tcrFfOJJwlSQw edit: While making this post it broke the 90,000 subs barrier
  17. Lovely, very lovely! 9/10, I like the light falling through the windows and the whole scene blends it together properly. The only thing that I can really comment on is that roughly half way it starts to look like a slight haze instead of natural light fall. my entry is of this lovely dragonfly that I managed to capture into nearly the tiniest detail.

Did no one else notice the quality, or lack the…

it's summer, in between product cycles and there are no interesting releases... so yeah ideas are rare.
  19. in that case deleting it will even increase the safety of your system to some degree
  20. just turn off/down settings that don't add much or are not really usefull for games, like chromatic aberration, lens flare etc the witcher has them all for some reason. then high should be viable enough, ultra is just useless overkill.
  21. the laptop is all what people want, it's light, it's ergonomics are great, it's thin, it's multi purpose. But that of course comes at a cost. If you want to repair things yourself you can't have crazy small compact solutions since you can't access all of the different components.
  22. you will lose aperture control with that adapter and I agree with @cc143 selling that lens and buying a native m4/3 lens will grand you better quality and maybe even better options.
