  1. You can find Chinese ones on eBay for about $8 which isn't that much more expensive. You are right that you'd need an extra power source and a motor driver board but I think the extra precision and robustness is a good enough trade off if you wanted this thing to work for more than a few hours.
  2. You guys should have used a transistor for switching it on and off and stepper motors would have worked better instead of servos. Also you guys need to get more building material in the warehouse besides supper cheap scrap plywood if want to keep doing these project videos.
  3. I'm having a similar issue. GIFs will just turn black and as play I get similar JPEG like artifacting. That makes me think it's just an issue with a recent chrome update. Edit: I have a 1070 as well so it could be an nVidia thing.
  4. For real though, they totally still sell hotcakes at Alberta McDonalds.
  5. My guess would be it has to do with your Chrome being a dev version as opposed to an official release.
  6. Chrome 43 on Windows 7, which is right. A score of 526.
  7. Wow, you know you've made it when people are willing to pirate your stuff to watch it. Also you should probably tag like Slick or at least a mod.
  8. Also check out this guy he's kinda like the LTT of lock picking: https://www.youtube.com/user/bosnianbill I'm not saying you're wrong, locks can ware down over time. But the mechanisms inside are a lot more robust than you are saying and it would take a lot of picks before any ware would start to show. It's not like you can stick a pick and the lock would stop working, you'd have to be really agressive with it and pick it for atleast 4 hours straight.
  9. The internals normally aren't strong than steel, so yeah they can ware down from from picking. But the internals are still metal so if you are picking a lock properly there should be no situation in which a thin ass peice of steel can brake solid brass.
  10. I think you are fine: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lock_picking#Canada
  11. I don't think there's any actual way to damage a lock from picking it unless you are really bad at it and bitch pick the hell out of it or you pick it at least 100+ times.
  12. I started doing it a month ago and I really like it, I think it's a super useful skill and a fun hobby. Problem is I've ran out of locks, all the ones in my house I have memorized so I can pick the in 60 seconds easy.

    WYR Day 69

Penguins man, that's where it's at.
  14. ...You got me there. I guess I didn't really think that through. Here is this better: One more market where AMD has been pushed to the budget option.
  15. Steam support is nutritiously (notoriously) awful, good luck my friend. EDIT: That's what you get when you assume the first auto correct result is the right one..
  16. Wow these things kill AMD APUs, one more market AMD has lost..
  17. I like the idea of SSDs becoming show-pieces in builds as much as something like a GPU cooler or motherboard, but this I don't know...
  18. Oh this thread isn't going to be pretty.
  19. Depends the quality of the power supply but I'd recommend atleast 600w.
  20. I wouldn't recommend it but it depends what you are buying and from what seller.
  21. Test out the old 15in Dell, assuming it's free, and if it sucks buy a new one.
  22. My computer weighs like 40lbs and I frequently lift it between the workbench and my desk...
