I did a quick search and someone recommended setting your desktop resolution to the same dsr resolution you're running your game at then run borderless windowed mode.  Other than that you just might have to pump up the AA if you can and run 1080p borderless.

Most of mine were already mentioned, but I'd add Bastion (all SuperGiant games have great soundtracks) and Nier: Automata.

You can probably still overclock the 6500 if you're willing to roll back your bios (unless you're still on the old one) and fiddle with it, asuming your board supports it. It will only let you OC the BCLK, but I've read some ppl got to 4.4 stable. A small amount of googling will net you a lot of info on this if you're interested.

That's tricky these days if you don't want any RPGs. More games than not have RPG mechanics today, so you really should clarify that. When you say no RPGs, what specific systems or mechanics are you trying to avoid?
 
This is a really gross attitude. I think nearly half of my favorite recent games have been games I'd rather play with my Xbox pad: Dark Souls, The Witcher 3, practically everything by Platinum. Analog control is a perfectly legitimate thing to use on PC when the situation warrants it.
 
What about racing wheels and flight sticks? Flight and racing sims rarely play best with keyboard and mouse, and that's been true for decades.
