    i can agree with @The Flying Slothon choosing the Behringer UMC 202HD, i have the bigger brother (UMC404HD) and have occasionally used it to record all kinds of musical instruments. Other than that I can say that they are built like a tank, mine was sadly dropped more than once but it has only some scratches left from that. And does anithing need to be said about bang for the buck, because in my opinion you almost can't beat it.

    UMC202HD is the best bang-for-buck option,

    I'd recommend that you take a look at the precious plastic project on the youtube channel from Dave Hakkens. This guy and his team have done a lot of research about plastic recycling.

    Equalizer settings depend on what you want out your headphones or speakers. everyone has different headphones and speakers so sending my settings doesn't mean you will hear the same things as me

    Behringer makes some decent stuff that's pretty affordable. Yamaha also makes some good stuff, and I'd probably trust them more though for feature parity they are generally going to be more expensive than behringer. That being said, you don't exactly need a crazy mixer to get this done - you shouldn't need anything more than a basic one. 
     
    I think that will only work if your headset isn't USB though. 
     
    e.g.
    PC1 => mixer,
    PC2 => mixer,
    mixer => headphones
