hello, i have an equalizer (25, 40, 63, 100, 160, 250, 400, 630, 1k, 1.6k, 2.5k, 4k, 6.3k, 10k and 16k) and would love if you can post some recomendations. im very new, and i dont know what i like so please post what you have and i can try it out :D

I keep mine pretty flat, but with some added 2.5k and 10k. (and yes its a McIntosh MA9000 :D) I like some sparkle in the treble, 0 idea why, give it a try though. But keep in mind that audio is extremely subjective.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

i boost the lows an the highs a bit and remove a bit of middle frequencies. but just like @rice guru said, you have different speakers/headphones, amplifier, your room sounds different and even your hearing is different form mine and from the next person. I would advice to put on a few songs hat you like and just turn all those different knobs until it sounds the way you like it. as long as you aren't some kind of audiofool or something who wants the sound to exactly match the original sound, you shoud set them in which ever way you think sounds the best.
