man I miss YouTube suggestions from the early 2010s era

I don't get it mean, SpaceX names their Starships as SN1-whatever version they're on now. Bethesda patches all their games with Patch 1-whatever patch their games are on now. It's 10 times easier to say "Check out patch 36 for the crap update" than "check out patch 4.5482d with the update they didn't add to it sometime last June". Why can't companies attempting to become world standard figure this out already? Someone has to be doing it on purpose

Elon's no one's friend but at least he has neat rockets. still sad there won't be a break up of twitter anytime soon

They don't bother to release another Rayman game in like 10 years then kill the last one anyway, thanks ubisoft I still had fun getting #2 and 3 on those courses

do they think that suddenly a meme coin will become regulated because of a meme lawsuit

How does it make sense to claim that when they just released a major update? It's a bit sad how much rushed releases are harming good games and studios. These executives should be given their golden parachutes and pushed off the cliff. Cyberpunk is another great example of a game that released like two years too early.
I would not at all call any of their updates major. This game is dead and needs to fade into the same fate as Anthem and Titanfall

You use the benefits of a free market to try and stop a characteristic of a free market... I really do not understand why people are so butt hurt over scalpers. A scalper would not exist if people were not paying the prices they ask. This is just another LHR as the scalpers will find another method in no time at all. You would think a company as large as Amazon would know basic principles of e-commerce by now. Oh well Hail hydra
sheesh the internet really can't make up its mind

Finally got a 3000 series last month lmao
yeah me too but I really don't see them giving us another 50% performance boost over the last generation and I don't want to deal with another 2 years of scalpers

JRPGs have been following the same formula since 1995, western games change a lot. I'm a little scared what they'll do to Lara but hopefully whoever gets her next will return her back to her original style

So instead of just making his own social media platform with his own vision for it, he preferred spending $45 BILLION to buy one that already exist... Cue censorship of people talking bad about Tesla, his other companies and himself.
How many people have made competitor platforms, and how many do you use? The infrastructure and minds behind Twitter only exist at Twitter, and it would take years or an equal amount of money to create a real competitor. If you want to be taken seriously it makes way more sense to buy Twitter.
I don't think Elon is anybody's friend but if he actually opens Twitter up to free speech (as should be required in a nation with free speech as a fundamental human right) then it's about time. Twitter's been needing new ownership for a long while anyway, and jack was such a limp wristed flip flop

oh god why
Literally why? The man literally uses the platform to commit financial crimes, and they think he's a good person to put on the board? wtf? I knew Dorsey stepping down as CEO was a bad thing to happen for twitter.
how is tweeting about unregulated markets a financial crime lol
shakeups are almost never bad. I hope he razes twitter hard

Goes for CCP. Goes for Canada. Goes for USA. In fact, there are few nations today that this doesn't hold true for.
When your nation commits an atrocity you aren't free of the consequences because you're an un-supporting citizen.

It's called a teleprompter without that he's no different than Elon Musk and SpaceX... He'll learn things by being around people but by no means is he able to tell you about it without help.
buddy what that's how everyone learns and he used to do one-take videos with no script and very much knew what he was talking about (for the purposes of what his videos were meant to show)

Eh just a matter of supply and demand. There's incredible demand, so they need to shave that down. How do they do that? Raise the price somehow, and what better way than lining your own pockets?

Im 99% sure the issue wasnt linux but you... (If this were an actual issue with ubuntu reddit vouldve blown up a long time ago.)
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1390561/monitor-issues-after-kernel-update-5-13-0-28
predictable response
actually let me clarify
first I don't use or care about reddit
second it works on older kernels but 2 reinstalls on the ..-28 version does not load into the GUI
third, I've never logged into Windows in 20 years of using Windows and had the desktop disappear
fourth, if this is the reliability I can expect from linux then why wouldn't I use windows? I don't want to use Arch
anyway I don't really care what caused it, that's my limit reached for this OS and I don't think I'm going to try again anytime soon
-
ubuntu 5.13lbahwhtever-28 can't load the desktop because it forgot to include the drivers in the update or install lmfao
I've had some weird problems with Windows but I've never loaded it up and had the desktop missing, greeted only by the command prompt
Linux is an atrocious experience and that doesn't seem like it's ever going to change.

I remember when this game was first announced and the crazy Kickstarter backing. Years and years of disappointment since. Not sure how it still hasn't died yet to be honest. Dont see much talk about it anymore.
Despite its failures it's still unlike any other space game out there. Elite Dangerous is another option, but they charge their players $60 then scale back their promises all the time. No Man's Sky just isn't the same, plus kickstarter backers are under the delusion their donation makes them a stakeholder and they will stick around for anything. You know I'd even make the claim it has more players than Battlefield 2042.
Anyway nobody should buy or back Star Citizen from now until the nonexistent day it comes out

I wonder who spent 1/10th of their life saving 1 billion dollars for intel and keeping it out of a foreign government lol

I never understood why these big companies have such complicated naming schemes. Even for patch notes. Bethesda for example counts their patches from 1-50 or whatever, and it's so easy to tell someone what got added in what patch instead of saying 40.x34.adv. Internal designations don't need to be what the rest of us lowly peasants see
