Walkure got a reaction from RelyBedGrammer in s340 Elite or p400s TG?
From personal experience, the P400S' airflow is pretty terrible, worse if you intend to stick a rad for the front intake

Walkure reacted to sammywhammy in GALAX 1080 Ti HOF Limited Edition Sales Date (US)
I thought the guy just asked if anyone knew when it would be available in the USA?
Why are all of you eggheads telling him he is stupid for what he wants. It sounds to me like sour grapes that you can't afford one so you are telling he is stupid for wanting what he wants. He didn't ask you guys IF he should buy one, one WHEN he could buy one.

Walkure reacted to Enderman in DAC on a budget vs Onboard audio + routing questions
Far less than using front audio on your PC case.
Don't worry about cable length, you probably won't notice any difference at all.

Not much if any. Keep it away from power cables.

If you plug your audio gear or headphones into the rear 3.5mm connector you will get less EMI.
If you don't hear any EMI then there really isn't a need for an external DAC.

Had a Fiio E10k which I gave to the GF and have a Schiit Fulla 2 for myself. Only advantage the Fiio has is a bass boost switch, the Schiit is better overall.

Just route an extension 3.5mm cable where you need it to go. You got an expensive motherboard, might as well use the onboard audio if it isn't noisy.

Walkure got a reaction from Rylo100 in GPU Chipsets?? Help!
Here's a rough explanation :
A 1060 6GB no matter what brand it's from, will have the same chipset and features provided by nvidia. Brands and their various different versions differ in other ways, from coolers to I/O to VRM. But the chipset, and whatever nvidia implements in it, is always the same.

A compressed air spray will suffice, that's a great card

I wish I knew modular PSU cables are most likely never compatible with another model, for that mistake I fried my HDD

A 4770K and 980ti are not pushing 650W. I'd bet you have an issue elsewhere. The Super Flower you have is a very good PSU.

Alright, cheers for the super quick help
I made this rig as silent as I could so the only noise I heard was that grasshopper noise we discussed about haha, thanks!

Coil whine is perfectly normal! For both PSUs and GPUs! You shouldn't worry... If you are concerned, you can RMA it, but IMO, you are 100% fine!

Does it sound like a Grasshopper? Because if it does, that isn't an issue (it is coil whine which is perfectly normal)
If it is making weird noises, you should RMA it, just to be on the safe side...

With the 980 Ti and a 4770K overclocked, you are pushing it fairly hard.... I think that it is probably dying and you should replace it, but @STRMfrmXMN can probably help more than I can in this issue...
