The CPU_OPT header displays as FANIN1 on my board (Z97MX-Gaming 5, very similar layout to yours). If you have nothing there (and/or 0 RPM) then your pump is dead.

We will find out once the the embargo is lifted on the 1080ti.

I had SLI several times, it works fine for benchs, especially 3DMark,...for games, that's another history in these days.
My last one was 2xTxp, sold already one of them...I would recommend to avoid SLI and get a better single card solution like the 1080Ti.

AC1DFOX got a reaction from SpaceGhostC2C in Random System Shutdowns, CPU running at 100C
Ok, I believe it may simply have been the cooler. I put the 4690K back in, new AS, Intel Stock cooler, and started the render again, and it is running just as fast as the 4790K was (13-17Minutes), and the temps are sitting around 67-72C.

Ah okay. Before sending the H60 off to RMA, it might be worth verifying that the pump has actually failed. You don't need to attach the H60's CPU block, just power the pump with either the CPU_OPT header or a molex to 3 pin adapter and put your ear to the pump while booting the system. If you can't hear any water "sloshing" around or the pump whirring up then you'll know what's been causing your headache haha I'm glad you like it, steal away.

Do you have another CPU cooler at hand? There's not enough to go by to pinpoint the issue here. Going by process of elimination, I'd say switching out the cooler would be a good baseline in finding the source of the issue. For all you know, the pump could be dead.

Might be just that. How many fans do you have, @AC1DFOX ? Your screenshot only shows two, which would be either the CPU fan and water pump (and no other fans), or the CPU fan only and a case fan (which would mean the pump is dead). I have a similar setup and it shows 4 fans running on mine (CPU fan, pump, 2 case fans).

Actually, it's very likely just a misread. HWMonitor is known to be inaccurate. Either way, assuming the worst based on that bit of information isn't exactly going to help OP.
