  1. I personally really don't like the device. From a hardware perspective, the specs are good and it looks like it performs well. I don't know if you changed a display colour setting, Linus, but it looked like the saturation was turned up to 1,000,000. As for touchwiz, it's still a terrible skin, and the first thing I'd do if I got the device would be to install something like cyanogenmod with its great privacy features. I also think the ergonomics of the device are terrible. Why is the back of the phone flat?? Especially when the front is curved. I tried one at a local phone shop and I just hated the way it felt in my hand. The device was more comfortable to hold the other way round, which should never be right. If the back was curved as well, this would definitely be a device I would consider purchasing - if the curved screen didn't bug me either. I think the normal S6 is a much better purchase.
  2. Good old coco pops leave behind the best chocolaty and refreshing milk! Also I always look forward to eating Cookie Crisp because of the milk
  3. I think they'd have a chance if the thing wasn't bulky and ugly as hell. I don't think anyone wants anything that large sticking out on their wrist. It'll do well, but it's not going to sell like hotcakes.
  4. I'm currently on episode 24... It's all I've watched today! I'll be sure to check those out once I finished it, definitely!
  5. First of all, I just want to say thanks to everybody for all of the replies! I had no idea I'd get so many. I think I have a lot to go off! You know, I saw somebody recommend Steins;Gate at the beginning of the thread. I saw it involved time travel and was immediately intrigued. You're right, the first few episodes were a bit slow and I found it weird to being with, but I have just woken up having got 4 hours sleep after spending 4 hours watching the series! I'm hooked That's a good question! Umm, I really like BBC's Sherlock. I've watched Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, Heroes and Adventure Tinme. Can't think of others right now. As for movies, District 9, The Hobbit, The Dark Knight and Watchmen were just a few films I really liked!
  6. Hey guys, I know a lot of people here like their anime, so I thought this would be a great place to ask. I want to spend the evening watching some anime. I'll tell you a little about what I've watched in the past, but the list isn't very long. I don't really watch anime either, so I want to try something new! Pokémon Yu-Gi-Oh (although that was when I was very young, I find it a bit obnoxious now) Digimon I really liked Spirited Away if there's anything similar to that Now I think about it, that's it. Anyway, it would be nice if it has a great storyline and isn't too over the top. Theme doesn't really matter. I'd also prefer if it were English dubbed because I'm not a fan of reading subtitles - I prefer to take in the story by reading off facial expressions, not text. Thanks for any replies
  7. Yep, mine does that as it gets longer. It does what I want until it gets to a certain length, then it will do all sorts of different things no matter what I do, brush it, hairdry it, hairspray it - nothing
  8. Well after half a year of styling it the same way my hair just naturally goes in the direction I style it in. Except for the fact that I have such dense hair it all just grows outwards when it gets too long I need a haircut every 5-6 weeks...
  9. Well, this is me right now, sitting at my PC Haven't shaved my neck ( ) or done my hair, and as such it is exploding on top of my head, haha
  10. There was a thread in the PC master race subreddit that I saw some time ago which linked to a website that does just what you want. Unfortunately, for the life of me I can't find it. It was posted at most a month ago, I swear... If I do find it I'll let you know.
  11. It's annoying marketing at its finest. Normal people will see 2160p and go "what the hell is that" whereas 4K has a much more concrete sounding name. It's stupid because the resolution has noting to do with 4000 pixels, if that's what the K is supposed to mean. It just represents the fact that the resolution is 4 times the size of 1080p. I wish HD ready and Full HD were never a thing. Stupid names that don't mean anything. I just want resolutions to be called what they are...
  12. You've gotta love theories, haven't you? Well let's hope they can find evidence supporting it then
  13. Well, it's true, but after what ShadowCaptain wrote I can agree that's okay. Right. It's always the pedantic things that get me I actually didn't know there was a difference.
  14. I'd imagine science would be baffled by it as well! That is true. It's just science's way of saying "eh, well we've tested as much as we can so we can pretty much say this has to be true." But there are plenty of laws that were considered concrete and have since been changed. People used to think heat was a tangible force in ancient times, for instance. I do wish that will change to; unfortunately even light can't exceed the speed of light to our current knowledge. Looks like good old Alby's theory might stick for a while
  15. Well, it was just the 1/3 that I thought was wrong. 1/3 = 3^(-1) and -1 isn't in that list of numbers. Using indices is in Wikipedia's order of operations, but the factorial that was in the other solution you find online isn't I'm just curious, that's all. My dad's an A level maths teacher, so I'll ask him a bit later, but he's teaching right now
