Apple must be high if they think they can sell me a $1300 laptop that doesn't even include the $80 adaptor that's REQUIRED if I want to plug in a USB drive or ANYTHING else! Oh, and the 1 port it does have isn't even USB 3.1 speed.
 
I've even seen a Kickstarter for an $80 hub, made of Aluminium, that has twice the ports AND has an internal battery for boosting a phone's charge. This shouldn't be necessary.

In all seriousness, given what Nvidia probably knows about the red team's next card, I don't think they would have undercut themselves like this if 390x wasn't imminent and FAST.

So I'm going to resist the impulse buy and see what happens in the next 2 or 3 months with regards to price / performance of these top tier cards.
 
P.S. you guys should have done a police style line up of all the different cards you have with that cooler design and get people to pick out the new card...

Now its AMD's turn to impress us with the 390. 
Hope it will bring them back to the competition.

dat res though, i though they would ship cv1 with something like 1440p or higher, not something precisely in between 1080p and 1440p

WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.
