Epikas got a reaction from Soubi in Bitfenix Prodigy-M Motherboard Orientation Mod
Hello there everyone. Well I recently purchased the Bitfenix Prodigy-M case, but to my disappointment, the motherboard was inverted, and the airflow was flowing in the wrong direction. For some reason, the Bitfenix designers thought it would be a good idea to have cold air intake from the top, and have hot air exhaust out through the bottom. The results were terrible airflow, and heat dissipation. To fix this major problem, I decided to take matters into my own hands, and fix this great big problem.
The following pictures will guide you through this great adventure.

The 520 is plenty. Seasonic is generally one of the most quietest and reliable companies around.

Depends on the length of your graphics card. Mine is too long so I had to relocate it to the bottom slot and raise the psu. If your gpu is short enough, you should be able to easily sli/xfire. As for sound card, it depends on your mother board layout. My sound card uses the pci 1x? Slot, the small one, about an inch long. That slot is located right above the bottom slot enabling me to use the sound card and graphics card at the same time.
I could add another graphics card, but it'll have to be a short one.

Try the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme. Its good performing, and cheaper than the Seidon 240m (at least where I live)

Alright, so I did a few changes to the case, and now it performs much better than the stock layout.
I recommend all Prodigy-M users to do this. This will vastly improve temps with no drawbacks.

Alright, so I recently did an upgrade to the system.
I changed the power supply to a corsair hx650 and mounted rubber spacers between the psu and front grill to reduce noise. Working perfectly right now and temps are looking real good.

All I used were a 15$ rivet tool, and a drill. I also used a vernier caliper for measurements.

Oops, sorry I converted it the wrong way. My bad!
Anyway, to the OP, I would also reccommend the Enermax ETS-T40-TB.
