Yeah, I think this sequel-tendency can be good in some points and bad in others. For example, divinity original sin 2 is AMAZING. The first game is also good, but the second is way better in every way imaginable. But there is also the likes of Fallout 4: it improved A LOT of things, but also it made some stuff worst and changed others in a compromising way. I for one like the Voiced main character, but the cost of that was too high: losing a bunch of freedom with the dialogues. It was worth it? Maybe. But it also could have been done better. I think the mentality about sequels cant be purely money-centered, like MANY are, even if that seens to work in the short term.

I prefer a constant 45 fps than 50-60 fps with frametimes all over the place. It depends on a lot of factors, higher fps is better for competitive games (though I played dota 2 most of my life with 40-60 fps and it was 100% fine) Overall fps matters to me mostly on first person games, ir really fast paced stuff. For cities skylines for example, even 20 fps is pretty playable.

Ok, I get it now. You are just a person who thinks your opinions means a lot more than it actually does. No sense in trying to argue with that. Else, for people with more sense, try the games I said, or at lest see reviews of them. Maybe you will love them, maybe not. But it is worth a try for sure (TW 3 and DOS 2 are my favorite games and so good that its a shame if you dont try them)

CDPR is not indie, larian and dontnod are indie, but that does not matter - I am talking about game quality in recent games - the games matter, not the developers. Fallout 4 was not mediocre - it was an tremendous success. That does not mean the game is GOOD, because thay is 100% subjective. I find Fo4, Fo3 and NV to have its own merits and flaws, and the one I most enjoyed was Fo4, followed by NV. Calling Life is Strange garbage is not only wrong, its falacious. You can find the game bad, thats an opinion, but calling it "garbage" sounds like it was poorly done - which it wasnt. It is a masterpiece and considered as such, even if some people dont like it/hate it. Bioshock Infinite was very well received, and though its true there were scandals involving the game, overall its very positively reviewed. And the ending is not bad at all - again that is only an opinion. The difference between calling a game "good" or "bad" lies in so much more than subjective things. I call fallout 76 BAD because it has a lot of problems, bugs, ita poorly done, etc. I may even enjoy the game, but even then I have to admit it is a bad game - also a game being "bad" is based on general public opinion and reception. Like every art form, you can find something unenjoyable but still acknowledge that its well done, and vice versa.

well, your examples were not that recent. but still, Vampyr is pretty recent and its pretty good. Thronebreaker is also VERY recent and good, people say AC odyssey is good and also red dead redemption 2, god of war... there are plenty of examples

Just look for the good games. Like everything EVER, there are good and bad stuff at any point in history (ofc trends do exist and "golden ages"). Just to list a few amazing (IMO) games that are not old: The Witcher 3 (classic) Divinity Original Sin 2 (insanely good) Fallout 4 (some ppl dont like it for valid reasons, but overall i like it a lot) Dark Souls 3 (not for everyone, but still very mainstream) Nioh (soulslike but japanese with cool stuff but also grind) Life is Strange (really short but beautiful) Bioshock Infinite (playing it now, really enjoying the experience) Thats just a few examples, people with different tastes will add other games or maybe disagree with me too, but thats alright. Its a big industry and as such, there is a lot of good and a lot of bad. Some ppl say the same about books. Or music. Or films. Just pick some art form/enterteinment category and this discussion will go on forever.

thanks dude, I didnt know about that but that was my mindset. its just ridiculous to pretend your stuff is not really yours, using shady practices and bullshit terms of service. BUYING a game and RENTING a game should be (and are) two different things. if you pay for a license with a limited amount of time, then the stuff is not yours. but if you pay for the thing itself, then there should not be any doubts. with physical goods that is really simple, so why make a mess out of digital stuff?

Why? If you buy the games, they are YOURS, so you should be able to sell them. The steam ToS has legal weight? Because its VERY common for ToS to say things that are not constitutional. Either way, if you want to sell it, just do it. Dont abide by these "rules" that try to tell you what to do with stuff YOU PAID for and therefore, own. That is one of the reasons GOG rules, ffs. That being said: I dont think it is a good idea to sell it, personally I wouldnt.

This is ridiculous, BUT that being said, it is very true that people use the "its my preference" argument to mask their prejudices. Por example, I usually prefer brunettes and I dont like woman that are too strong, but that does not mean I would exclude every strong blonde. People are people, and most often than not you find yourself seeing the beauty on someone you would never imagine feeling attracted to. This is personal however, and nobody can tell you how to live your life, but if you are a "nice guy" who only likes tall redheads, be aware that this is not as simple as personal preference, so dont act like it. On the other hand, NEVER feel like you "have" to be attracted to someone or if you arent that means you are racist - this is just insane and very dangerous.

Also this is the future. Jobs will disappear, others will rise. Thats how it is. And if the manual labor is mostly done by robots, humans can use their time in other stuff. The transition is difficult as always, but I think there is no stopping and and neither we should.

Well, you will be "bottlenecked" im some situations, but i think this is a stuoid term. lets just say you will get A TON of performance, but it will be limited in some cases. maybe a 1070 would be better suited, but check prices and get the best one for you... and remember, only upgrade stuff when you need it, so dont worry much about the other parts until you feel they are not getting the job done.

I use netflix because it was the first true alternative to piracy in brazil (well, ofc there is still piracy, but the service is still good and very convenient) Also I pay for games that I like (mostly by good devs) and for music, spotify is very convenient (althought I use mostly my gf's account so i dont really pay for it)

Im not radical so I wont start a political discussion and I believe EVERYONE is entitled to their vote, as much as i disagree with them. That being said, the only reason im voting for PT (which I never tought would happen) is Bolsonaro himself. If it were any other person, literally, I would vote for them, but Bolsonaro is goes against all my core values and I think he is incopetent at. At least if PT Wins they will have a fierce opposition and wont do much damage.

As a Brazilian, the fake news are a really big problem. The candidate Jair Bolsonaro - which is pretty much the antichrist - has lots of crazy voters.
